Author's Note: Another for eponine, because I couldn't do just the one.

The words were easy - they'd been spinning through her brain since she was old enough to notice the difference between her pile of Christmas presents and his.

Find the perfect postcard. Something simple and spare. The tiara was her, but the blurred edges and sharp glitters were all him.

Print the words. Fold the paper into sharp creases, scraping the edges with her fingernails because she couldn’t find the scissors.

Tiny dots of glue to the back, then push the strips onto the postcard and wait for it to dry.

There was blood on her tongue when she finished.
