Chapter Three

~+~+~+~None of this belongs to Fionfee, as it is impossible for it to be owned by someone who doesn’t make thousands upon thousands of dollars in profits.. NOT MINE!~+~+~+~

For seven weeks, David and Willow spent most of their nights together. Wandering the boardwalk or sitting on the beach in lessons. Until the last day of their lessons.

Willow sat eating her rice on the Bluff until she heard the jingle of David’s approach. Willow grinned as she turned around. “Hello, David.” She watched as he grinned back at her, then looked at her rice, obviously confused.

“Willow? Why are you eating maggots?” he asked. Then he laughed when she looked down at her food and screamed. She glared at him when she heard his laughter.

“That was mean I can’t believe you did that to me ” she yelled. “Do you know what this means now?” He stepped away from her, still laughing, but her next words and tone of voice stopped him. She sounded sad, not yelling any more. “It means we’re done.”

David looked back to see her looking out to sea again. He walked over and sat down next to her. “What do you mean?” he asked.

She continued avoiding his gaze. “You’ve learned. You know magic, your strengths, your weaknesses, and your power. There’s nothing left for me to teach you. Time for me to try to go home again.”

“Do you have to?” he asked. “You could stay here, with me. You could join my family. Sleep all day, party all night, never grow old, never die... be a vampire with me...”

She finally looked at him and he saw the tears streaming down her face. “I have to go. You need to get on with your death, teach your brothers, if you can. But I’m not part of this world, I have to go.”

“Can you join my family? You don’t need to be here for that. Please?” he asked, brushing a thumb across her cheek. “I don’t want you to just disappear.”

Willow looked down at the ground between them. “I can’t become a Vampire before I leave and I won’t be a minion of a Vampire I haven’t met.” David stared intently at her.
“Will you be a half-vampire?” he asked her. She glanced up at him, thinking.

“Not one of your Master’s parade,” she replied, looking back to the ground.

“One of mine?” he asked out of desperation. “You’ll heal faster and be stronger, and not age. The only problem is that you will have the urge to feed. But you can last years according to my Sire. Or I could introduce you to my brothers and you can choose one of them or....” he sputtered to a stop when Willow started laughing.

It took two minutes for Willow to stop laughing. When she finished, she sat back up and looked at David. She was still smiling like a loon. “You had me at ‘mine.’” she said. “But how am I supposed to become your first half-vamp?”

David smirked when she said ‘your’ and pulled her onto his lap. “Well, my Willow-tree. There are a few ways we could do this...”

“Which is the most pleasurable?” she interrupted. “Oh, that came out wrong.” she said with a blush.

“Pleasurable, huh?” he replied smirking. “There’s only one really pleasurable way.” He kissed her, after biting his tongue. It took her a second to get over the shock and open her mouth to the kiss. Opening his mouth, he kissed her deeper, allowing his blood to flow into her mouth. After a good thirty seconds into the kiss, his tongue had healed. But, by then, they were into the moment and did not stop kissing for a good two minutes. When they did, Willow was gasping for breath and fell off his lap, due to the rush the blood, and the kiss, gave her. “Willow? Willow, are you okay?” David asked.

Willow grinned at him. “Uh... As far as I know...” David grinned back.

“Wanna go somewhere a little more..private?” he asked with a wag of his eyebrows.

“Mmm.... Sounds good to me.” Willow replied before being pulled into his arms and over the cliff. David flew them to his home.

One week later, David and Willow were back at her circle of rocks. “Promise me?” asked Willow. David sighed.

“I promise not to attack innocents. I promise to not interfere with your spell. I promise to sleep in a cave separate from the inn. Am I missing one?” he asked in reply.

“Yes,” she said. “Promise to not wait for me?” David sighed again shaking his head.

“Nope. Won’t do that. I’ll be by here every now and again, whether you’re waiting or not. Promise not to get killed?”

I wrote this two years ago, but yes, I plan on finishing it.. eventually. Honestly, I have at least the next 6 Chapters in my head (how long they are or when they begin is a secret only I know), but it is just me taking the time to type them out that is the problem. If I get an overwhelming response, I'll work harder to get them done. :)
