1: Colonel, We Have a Problem

Carter and LeBeau moved quietly through the snow covered woods. Their mission to destroy the railroad bridge had gone well.

Nearing the tree stump hiding the entrance to a tunnel leading out from Stalag 13, a bright light flashed in the darkness above. It disappeared as a form a thumped into the snow.

“LeBeau, Carter. What’s going on here?” demanded Hogan, as he and Newkirk ran into the clearing.

As the small blonde woman brushed the snow off her white sweater and thin gray slacks and muttered to herself, LeBeau replied, “Col-o-nel, I think we have a problem.”
