RoadTrip- The car

AN I’ve decided to return to my original idea, this story as a bunch of drabbles relating to the challenge in some way. I’ll leave the ‘serious’ bits, but I’m sticking with drabbles from now on.





The kids, as Jack had begun to call them in his mind, piled into his jeep.

“I call shotgun!” Dawn cried, throwing herself into the seat.

“No fair!” Buffy pouted, before storming over to the back door.

Xander grinned from his own seat. “Ya snooze, ya lose Buffster.”

“Xander.” Willow scolded, failing to hide a smile. “Stop that.”

Xander smiled, using his big brown eyes to full effect. “Stop what?”

Willow shook her head in mock disgust and returned to her laptop.

“What’cha got there Wills?” Buffy asked, pulling on her seatbelt.

“Nothing much.” Willow shrugged. “Just browsing that jewelry website you showed me.”

Dawn squealed excitedly. “Have you seen the Claddagh rings? They are so adorable!”

Buffy grabbed the laptop. “I haven’t!”

“Buffy, be careful, that was expensive!” Willow protested.

“Yeah oh rich one.” Xander quipped. “You break it, it’s coming out of your account.”

Buffy pouted absentmindedly. “I’m not rich. Where are those rings Dawnie?”

Jack sighed. There was no way he was getting through this trip headache free.
