“Are you all right?” The Doctor asked the one-eyed man.

“I’m,” Xander shook his head trying to clear the grogginess. “I’m five by five. I think. Well aside from the damn ringing in my ears.”

“Oh no no no, I never like people hearing things. My last experience really didn’t work out so well.” A brief look of sadness passed over the thin man’s face.

“I’m not crazy or anything.” Xander added looking affronted. “The doctor said it was just a virus.”

Everyone in the room looked at Ten in askance. “Not me. I told you I’m not that kind of Doctor.”

“Aw rats.” Xander exclaimed as he fully took in their predicament.

“Rats? Where? I hate rats.” There was the sound of a hand impacting on flesh.

“He was speaking metaphorically DiNozzo.”

“Sorry Boss.”

“Boss. Doctor. Does anyone actually use their given name around here?”

“Oh you mean like you Jack?” The voice of the blue eyed, bespectacled man dripped with sarcasm.

“That’s my name.”

“Gentlemen, please let’s be calm.” The Doctor piped up from beside the last to awake.

“Look, thanks for the help and everything but where exactly are we?” Xander asked.

“I have no idea.” The Doctor added cheerily.

Xander looked at him oddly. “You seem remarkably chipper that being the case.”

“We’re locked in a box with no idea how we got here or how to get out.” Jack snarked.

“I know exciting isn’t it?” The Doctor added with a grin.

Tony couldn’t help but be impressed as to the Doctor’s credit his smile only dimmed a fraction upon receipt of Gibb’s thousand yard stare.

A/N – No idea where this came from, just started with the ears ringing and the others kept chiming in (sorry). No plans to take it anywhere but if anyone one feels like expanding or adding more folks to this little hell hole please feel free :0)
