a/n: Sorry if someone has done this…but I haven’t read it and I really wanted someone to die this way just once.

She can’t believe it. In all the years she had been slaying, she never thought that it could really happen.

“I mean really, how...”

“I don’t know Buffy, but I check the coroner’s records. Hell I even showed you the picture of the scene.” Willow replied.

“Give it up Buffy. It really happened,” Xander said in a snickering tone.

“I know. I know. But how? I know that’s what the SPD always called it but I never thought anyone was really that clumsy.”

“Is anyone going to actually tell me what the bloody ‘ell is going on?” Spike asked as he looked at the fresh grave. “And when is this bugger going to pop up?”

The Scoobies couldn’t hold it in any longer and they all fell on the ground laughing. Finally after about twenty minutes Buffy caught her breath enough to tell Spike what was going on.

“Spike” she gasped, ”He’s not going to rise.”

“Wot? Way not?”

“He died…”

“Hence the grave…”

“By falling on a barbecue fork,” she let out as she dissolved into giggles looking at Spike’s shocked face.
