New Beginnings

Hi! This is my first story, so go easy on me ok? If you have any suggestions or helpful hints they would be appreciated.
Of course I own nothing.

This is a crossover between Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Enjoy!

Dawn was sick of being Buffy’s little sister. She was treated like dirt. Ever since Buffy came back from the dead, Dawn felt as though she wasn’t treated the same. Buffy was either ignoring her or was yelling and treating her like she was still a little kid. She was fourteen for God’s sake.

That was why she was doing this spell. It called for the Key’s blood. Yea. If Buffy found out she would freak. If all went well, Buffy wouldn’t even remember her. If it didn’t work, well then she’d find some other way of getting the hell out of here. Oh yeah, she almost forgot one thing… the destination. She got up and walked over to her bookshelf. What to choose…ah! Here we go…she picked up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. That was her favorite book ever. She always felt sorry for Harry. She was determined to do everything in her power to help him as possible.

As she got to the part where she needed to add her blood, Buffy burst through the room followed by Willow and Spike. “DAWN!! What the hell are you up to?! Willow felt major mojo… What the fuck are you doing with that knife?!” Buffy yelled at the top of her lungs and lunged for Dawn to grab the knife. She was too late. Green energy swirled around Dawn as she cut her arm. The last thing she saw before she blacked out was Spike smiling wanly as he whispered “Stay safe Nib-lit.”

Professor Snape was just coming into the Great Hall for breakfast when he heard everyone start to make a commotion. He looked up from glaring at some first years who had dared to cross his path. Bloody Hell. There was a great swirling green thing floating above the great table. All of the professors had their wands out and pointing at the strange intrusion. He quickly pulled his own wand out and made his way over. He didn’t trust the wankers to do anything right. As he ran up to where the rest of the professors were, a girl started to fall out of the green thing in slow motion. He reached the girl first and was able to catch her in her decent. "Some body get Madame Pomfrey", Snape said, just before a green light enfolded both man and girl and caused Snape to fall unconscious to the floor.
