A/N Not planning on going anywhere with it just needed to get it out of my head....

The Doctor stared at the red headed form collapsed on the ramp of the TARDIS. He couldn’t believe it, not again. And right now red heads weren’t a source of good memories. Then again you could easily rule out blondes, brunettes and so on and so forth.

The figure stirred spurring him in to action. He crouched down beside her. Her eyes fluttered open and for a second he could have sworn they were pure black but he couldn’t be sure as she lashed out in alarm knocking him back on his butt.

“Easy, easy. Your safe, I’m not going to hurt you.” She leant back against the rail, well sagged really, then groaned in pain. She grasped her head and closed her eyes.

“Who are you?” She flinched at the sound of his voice before looking up and he watched a parade of emotions flicker across her face - puzzlement, concern, fear and a hint of panic.

“Doctor.” Her voice was hoarse as if she’d been shouting.

“Doctor who? No, wait that’s not my line.” He was interrupted as she reached out and grabbed his arm.

“No I need a Doctor. I’m not sure, I mean I can’t remember. I.” She looked at him and he felt his hearts clench at the despair in her gaze. “I don’t know who I am!”
