Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy or Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog
(it was a thought in my head, and probably runs counter to canon somewhat. enjoy the story)
D'Hoffryn blinked as he stared at the paper. While most vengeance demons preferred a summon, and a flash of light. He found the image of paper in an office with a cup of coffee to be more satisfying. It also meant that he didn't have to talk to humans very often.
This however, was something he had to see to for himself.
For one thing, it was an innocent woman who had made the wish in her thoughts as she breathed her last. She never harbored an evil thought in her life.
Then he stared at the past of the target she had named.
"I'm surprised nobody else has ever wished vengeance on him."
Capt. Hammer slouched out of the psychiatrist's office. He had donned an overcoat and droopy hat right before he left. As he went down the street, he ignored several people talking about their newest star to gossip about.
If he'd paid attention, he'd have noticed that Dr. Geek was the newest thing.
He turned a corner down an alley to avoid the crowds, and walked into someone.
Captain Hammer sniffed as he stared at at the ugly creature before him. "If it's a fight you want, come back later."
"No, no, I'm just delivering something." D'Hoffryn said as he handed over an ornate handkerchief.
The Captain blinked as he took it. "What is this?"
"Oh, just something to wipe your eyes. It's a gift from Penny before she died. It might also allow you to see."
"I can see just fine."
"Not that kind of sight." D'Hoffryn laughed as he faded away. "No, it's much worse. Penny the good hearted, decided to be bad for this one wish. That you would forever lust for gay men, and always see people for who they are. Including yourself."
