Chapter 3

AN Sorry the chapters are so short, I prefer to do them that way. And I'll try to clear things up about Dru becoming a Mommy/Grandma.

Disclaimer- I still don't own the characters, items or the places mentioned.

Careful not to wake her sleeping grandchild, Drusilla picked him up and began walking to a house Spike would know very well. Setting him down on the porch, she moved to the door, and raised her hand to knock.

Before she could, however, the door opened.

Joyce Summers stared at the vampiress. "May I help you?"

Shocked, any semblance of the sanity she tried to cling to around her grandchild vanished. "Kitten needs warmth." She blurted.

Joyce Summers, while carefully staying behind the safety of the threshold, looked around carefully. Spotting Xander, she forgot this vital safety feature. “What happened to him?” She demanded, kneeling next to him, checking for a pulse.

Desperately trying to express herself, Drusilla’s rambling became incoherent.

“The bad cats were fighting, their yowling scared the Kitten out of his basket. I found the Kitten outside the basket, and took the good little Kitten to the mean little Slayers home, where mummy Slayer lives.” Drusilla rambled. “Mummy Slayer will care for Kitten until he goes to the General’s town.”

When Joyce turned to look, suddenly realizing the danger of having a mad possible vampire at her back, Drusilla had gone.
