I don't own the X-Men, those belong to Marvel Comics and were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby
Emma Frost was created by Chris Claremont and John Bryne.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer was created By Joss Whedon and all the characters with the BTVS TV series are his as well.
The Thundercats were created by Ted Wolf and currently belong to Warner Brothers, at one point in time Marvel comics did do a run of the them in comics form, although DC comics do them now.
The Berskshire Mountains of Snow Valley, Massachusetts....
“Dude, you didn't tell us this place was.... old.” Calvin said as Ben parked the van.
“It's been around since the 1700's in one form or another. It was closed shortly after Xavier graduated from it. He's purchased it recently and had it redone to an extent. It was supposed to be a back up site, but things are changing.” Ben explained as he hefted up a large rock near the driveway and withdrew a set of keys that were in a sealed Ziploc bag. He lowered the rock and opened the bag. “Right where they said they'd be.” He grinned.
“This place.... certainly has a history to it.” Angelica Jones said as she took a few photos with her recently purchased camera. It was the last thing her grandmother had gotten her before she died. “It's got Cable right?”
“Better.” Ben grinned as he opened the front door. “Let's go see our new home shall we?”
The Daily Globe:
“What's going on?” Peter asked Ben Urich as he came into the newsroom.
“A meteoroid struck the shuttle and it's been damaged. The ship's been damaged and they're bringing her down hard.” Ben told him. “Jonah's son is in charge of the mission.”
“Where is it landing?” Peter asked.
“Here.” Ben told him. “They've already cleared out JFK's runways.”
“I'll be there.” Peter said as he headed out of the newsroom.
“Peter, wait up!” Ben called. “I need to talk to you.”
“About what?” Peter asked as he checked his camera equipment.
“Not here.” Ben told him. “The walls have ears.”
“Tell me on the way. We've got enough time to take the train and then a cab.” Peter told him.
“I can drive.” Ben offered.
“Right, you've got a license. I forget sometimes.” Peter grinned.
“We can't all be perfect Peter. How's that redhead of yours doing? She made quite an impression back on Halloween.” Ben asked him.
“She's good. We've gone through some rough stuff lately but we're working on it.” Peter sighed. “She got some offers for modeling after the party but she doesn't want to be signing any contracts at this point.”
“She's still young, she's got a lot of options open for her.” Ben told him. “Just don't let her have the lifestyle get to her.” He pressed the button on the elevator.
“Sounds like you have a story there.” Peter said.
“Kid, let me tell you about a girl I knew growing up named Gia Marie.” Ben said with a sad smile
Peter was quiet the entire ride there as Ben talked.
JFK airport.... after the landing....
“There's something on the hull.” Peter said as he stared at the ship as it came into view through his camera
“What?” Ben asked as he took notes.
“No idea.” Peter said as he tried to focus on it with his lens. “I think it's moving.” Peter said. “I need to make a call.”
“Who are you calling?” Ben asked him as Peter dug out his abused cell phone.
“You're not going to believe me until they get here.” Peter grinned as he pressed send. “Reed, you busy? Of course you are. Listen, I'm down at JFK International where the shuttle's landing. You guys need to get out here with a containment unit or something. It looks like a black goop on the hull and it was moving. It could have been due to cooling, but better safe than sorry right? Thanks.” Peter said as he hung up.
“Was that who I think it was?” Ben asked him.
“Maybe.” Peter grinned.
The Daily Globe....
“Alien life discovered!” Jack Johnson grinned as he set the headline. “Way to go Peter!”
“I just added two and two together.” Peter said with a shrug.
“But you were the one to contact the Fantastic Four, thanks to that we've got an exclusive!” Johnson said. “This'll be triple your usual fee.”
“We need to do some follow ups. Jameson got exposed to some spores from whatever hit that thing before the Fantastic Four could contain it completely.” Peter said.
“Don't worry, we'll keep on. I know Jameson's kid, he'll be fine in Richards' care.” Johnson assured him. “You did good kid.”
“Thanks, I need to get home.” Peter said.
“Just be sure to get your check before you go.” Johnson said as he wrote him a voucher.
Four Freedoms Plaza...
“Reed what are you doing with that rabbit?” Susan Storm asked her Fiancé.
“Well, I've got a theory on this substance.” Reed told her. “I believe it's a symbiotic organism, but there's a chance it's more of a parasite. It's structure is unlike anything I've seen before, so the rabbit.”
“Oh.” Susan said. “What about Jameson?”
“Had to use some rather high levels of electrical current, but the spores have been destroyed. He gained a ten percent increase in height, and mass. His strength seems to have doubled as well.” Reed said.
“Is it permanent?” Susan asked.
“We'll see once he's out of quarantine.” Reed said as he lowered the rabbit into the unit containing the alien life form.
The two watched in sick fascination. “Definitely a parasite.” Susan said with a shudder.
“I agree.” Reed said with a frown.
Norman Osborn stared at the headline. “That entire building is built like a fortress.” He muttered. “How can I steal it? The things I could learn.”
He pressed a button on his intercom. “Marcy, cancel my appointment for the rest of the morning.”
“Yes sir.” His secretary replied.
Four Freedoms Plaza...
“Reed, what's with the goat?” Johnny asked his soon to be brother in-law.
The Latverian Embassy....
Victor von Doom sat up with a shout. The dream had seemed so real. “Uncle Ben.” Doom whispered. The memories, while hazy were quite real. The only truly unanticipated side effect of the transfer.
Doom sighed and went to go get dressed for the day. He had a meeting with the big three today.
Snow Valley, Massachusetts....
“Everybody sleep okay?” Ben asked as the others stumbled into the kitchen.
“It's too early.” Angelica moaned as Ben handed her a cup of coffee.
“It's not so bad.” Calvin grinned.
“You went to bed later than we did.” Vance groused. “Why are you so chipper?”
“That'd be my fault.” Ben told him. “He only needs about five hours sleep on a good night because he's copied my powers.”
“By the way, those microwave powers of yours are kind of weird.” Calvin said to Angelica. “They make my.... bits tingle when I use them.”
Angelica raised an eyebrow.
“We'll have to look into that.” Ben sighed. “Tingling is a sign of healing, at least there.”
Angelica looked at him.
“There was incident involving an angry mother and a cattle prod I'm not really proud of.” Ben told her.
“Oh.” Angelica said with a grin.
“He's never boring.” Calvin told them.
“I'm starting to see that.” Vance muttered before sipping his coffee.
Back at Xavier's place....
“So who here is staying for Thanksgiving?” Xavier asked at dinner that night.
A large number of hands went up, including Emma and Jean's.
“Wow, that's a lot more than last year.” Kurt said in awe.
“Our families are coming here.” Jubilee said for a majority of the group.
“Oh crap.” Fred muttered. “We're going to need a bigger oven.”
“Well, I've been wanting to try a fried turkey.” Kurt said as he scratched his chin. “I've heard the trick is to have it defrosted before putting it in the fryer.”
“Man, I haven't had a fried turkey in ages.” Fred grinned. “I know the real trick is peanut oil.”
“Well that's been decided. The real question is, would they be willing to stay in the underground levels or should we book some hotel rooms?” Sean asked.
“I'll start the calling tree.” Ororo sighed.
“I'll help.” Beast chipped in.
The Lawn... the next day....
“What the...” Xander said as he stared outside.
“He volunteered.” Cordelia told him.
“I didn't realize he could make that many clones.” Xander said, in awe. “Why is he putting all the leaves into one pile?”
They watched as a tenth of the clones started to jump into the ever growing pile of leaves.
“That answers that.” Cordelia grinned. “Come on, let's go get the mulcher and take these leaves apart!”
“What is it with you and power tools?” Xander asked her.
“You inspire me.” She laughed.
“So, there's a chance excessive use of my powers can render me sterile?” Angelica asked Ben as he ran the results again.
“You don't have the recuperative abilities that Calvin and I have. In time it will. His was much more noticeable since his boys are on the outside of his body.” Ben sighed. “We can circumvent it, but I'll need a few days for a consult.”
“But I'll be okay in the meantime right?” She asked him, worried.
“The effects would be cumulative. It'd be years worth of normal use to cause sterility. If we stop the exposure early on, you'll be fine.” Ben told her. “I'm not the best with the medical stuff, but I'm getting there.”
“You sound like you know what you're doing to me.'” Vance told him.
Ben snorted. “Please, my... sister in-law can run circles around me. Now the, where were we? Right, American History today.”
“Man, school?” Calvin said. “We just got here yesterday!”
“All the more reason to start. Let's go find the textbooks.” Ben told him
Four Freedoms Plaza....
Susan looked up from her paper. “No Reed.”
“But it's hungry.” Reed said.
“Where did you even get the cow?” Johnny asked.
“Well it's a funny story.” Reed grinned. “See there was this man from Nantucket...” Reed began.
“Never mind. Just return the thing.” Susan sighed.
Somewhere else in the city....
“You wanted to see me?” A soft voice said in the darkness.
Wilson Fisk looked up from his paper. “Yes, I've a job for you.”
“I'm listening.” The Black Cat grinned.
Norman Osborn sighed as he looked over the plans. It had taken more than a little bribing just to get the basics of the tower. “This is going to take some considerable effort. Should be a gas.” He grinned. “Hmm... gas. That's an idea. Maybe a hallucinogen... we've got stuff that makes LSD look like aspirin... Yes, that could definitely work." He laughed.
