I don't own the X-Men, those belong to Marvel Comics and were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby
Emma Frost was created by Chris Claremont and John Bryne.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer was created By Joss Whedon and all the characters with the BTVS TV series are his as well.
The Thundercats were created by Ted Wolf and currently belong to Warner Brothers, at one point in time Marvel comics did do a run of the them in comics form, although DC comics do them now.
Manhattan..... A week later...
“Come on, say it!” Cheshire said as he tugged gently on the Shocker's arm.
“Uncle!” Shocker screamed.
“Was that so hard?” Cheshire said while he removed the man's weapons and ushered him over to the police.
Cheshire bowed to the crowd that had formed before disappearing from sight.
It was a good day to be him.
“I can't believe how much has been done in a week.” Bruce said as he sat down at the hotel bar.
“Well it helps to have some hard workers on our side.” Jennifer said as she dug around behind the bar. “There's still a lot to this place we haven't worked on. The bio-cleaning that had to be done because of the body we found took forever.”
“The fact there was still a reward for that missing money didn't hurt.” Bruce grinned. “Thanks for letting me have the basement.”
“Well it was the place that needed the least work.” Jennifer shrugged. “It would give you space to do whatever it is you're doing.”
“I'm trying to siphon the gamma radiation from my body. There's a chance that if I do that I'll be cured.” Bruce explained.
“So you're radioactive?” Jennifer asked as she took a step back from her cousin.
“It's a minor amount. Nothing dangerous.” Bruce explained. “I took a high dose when I was testing the serum. It was supposed to help provide radiation resistance, but it did something else to me.”
“So if you're not terribly radioactive, what triggers the change?” Jennifer asked. “Is it somehow triggered by a fight or flight response?”
“I think so, but there's more to it than that.” Bruce told her. “As it stands, while I don't emit a lot of radiation....” What he was about to say got interrupted when they heard the call for lunch.
“Never mind.” Bruce said. “I'm starving.”
Jennifer grinned and followed her cousin. It was a shame she couldn't get her dad to come see this place. It was something to be proud of.
The two walked into the lobby and headed towards the front desk where the food was usually laid out for them.
“Yo, Calvin, hurry up!” Vance called as he looked through the food bags.
Calvin turned, taking the two by four he had on his shoulder with him. Jennifer ducked, but Bruce got nailed in the....
“Ouch! My nose!” Bruce said as he clutched his nose and wincing in pain.
“Bruce, are you okay?” Jennifer asked as everyone else began to step back from the man.
“I'm...” Bruce said as he felt something warm run down his hand, “Crap it's bleeding.”
“Is that bad?” Jennifer asked as she knelt down to check on her cousin.
“Jennifer, you don't understand. My blood is...” Bruce said before sneezing, spattering his cousin with his blood.
“Toxic.” Bruce said as his cousin blinked.
“I think I got some in my eye.” Jennifer said softly. “I don't... feel so good.” She said before falling over.
“What do we do now?” Ben asked as he rushed over.
“My blood produces a mutated version of the serum I used.” Bruce said as he backed away from the others. “Her only real chance is gamma exposure. What's in my blood isn't enough without extra radiation.”
“I've got a gamma cell in my image inducer.” Felicia offered as she handed Bruce some Kleenex.
“I've got one in my board.” Ben told him.
“Get the one out of the inducer first, she needs gamma exposure immediately.” Bruce said as he mopped up his blood from his nose. “I think it's broken.” He said before snapping it back into place. “It was.”
Ben winced but he managed to get the battery out of Felicia's image inducer. He handed Bruce the cell and Bruce exposed the cell over Jennifer's upper body.
“Go get the other cell.” Bruce said. “This might not be enough.”
“Be right back.” Ben said as he teleported to get his board.
Bruce had the second cell in a matter of seconds.
When he exposed the second cell to Jennifer, she.... changed. She grew nine inches and she practically burst out of her clothing as her skin turned emerald green while her hair and lips became a deeper green.
“Shit.” Bruce said softly. “She's become some sort of She-Hulk. What happened to Blonsky was bad enough.”
“What do we do now?” Ben asked stared at his friend/something else.
“We wait for her to wake up. Let the cells run dry. If we don't she might die.”
“I'll get her to a bed.” Ben said as he teleported himself and Jennifer to her room, making sure not to jostle her or the two small radioactive batteries on her.
He reappeared in the lobby seconds later. “How much Gamma radiation is she going to need?” He asked Bruce who was trying to get up the blood he'd spilt on the floor.
“Those cells were enough to produce a change. If we keep up the exposure, it should be enough.” Bruce said. “This is my fault.”
“It was an accident Bruce. We'll just need to be more careful in the future.” Ben told him.
“Can I sit with her?” Bruce asked him.
“That might be best.” Ben told him. “I'll bring up some food in a minute okay?”
“Thank you Ben.” Bruce said as he walked upstairs.
Ben turned to everyone. “Word doesn't get out about this. The Army's already after Bruce, we don't need them after Jen as well.”
“We'll keep quiet.” Adrienne said softly. “She's going to be okay right?”
“I hope so.” Ben said softly. “Take the rest of the day off. Just... don't break anything huh?”
He went upstairs and Felicia followed him.
“It was an accident.” Calvin said after the two adults left. “You all saw it.”
“It was.” Adrienne said. “Don't worry about it Calvin. It couldn't be helped.”
“What do you mean?” Angelica asked.
“I've touched some of Jennifer's personal items.” Adrienne said. “She would have become that one way or another within the next few years. Fate's funny that way.”
“She was meant to become that?” Calvin asked. “I didn't see it.”
“Like you ever got close enough to handle her personal items.” Vance said around a mouthful of food. “She wouldn't even let you help out with the laundry.”
“Point.” Calvin sighed before looking at the food. “Vance, quit hogging the sesame chicken.” He said as he realized what his friend was doing.
“Oh, this is just ridiculous.” Cheshire sighed as he caught the Vulture again. “How do you keep getting out of jail?” He asked Adrian Toomes.
“I've got a good lawyer.” Toomes shrugged.
“Dammit. See if you can keep him locked up would you?” He asked the police.
The cops nodded and handcuffed the elderly criminal.
“The batteries are drained.” Bruce said as he stared at his cousin.
“You can tell?” Ben asked.
“I can feel gamma radiation to an extent. Whatever was producing it in the cells, it's tapped out.” Bruce said. “I think she's going to be okay. Since we're related, there's a decent chance this won't affect her as badly as it did Blonsky.”
“What exactly happened?” Ben asked.
“I trusted a man, gave him a sample of blood in search of a cure. He twisted it into something else. Blonsky worked for Ross. The man in charge of the people after me. He got hopped up on a drug and then took some of the sample. It turned him into some sort of abomination. The Hulk defeated him, but it took a lot of effort.” Bruce explained. “I can't trust people with my blood. Stuff like this...” He gestured at his cousin. “Is what's bound to happen.”
“The super soldier program....” Ben said. “I can see why Ross wants you back. You're like a walking army on your own right?”
“I can be, but you can't just point the Hulk at something. It doesn't work like that.” Bruce said.
Jennifer started to stir.
“She's waking.” Felicia said as she removed the two gamma cells from Jennifer's forehead and chest.
“What.... what happened?” Jennifer asked as she opened her eyes. “Thirsty.”
Felicia held a glass of water with a straw in it to her and Jennifer took a sip.
“Better.” Jennifer said. “What happened? I remember Bruce hurting his nose...”
“You were contaminated by my blood.” Bruce told her. “I'm sorry Jennifer.”
“What?” Jennifer said as she sat up... She saw emerald colored skin peeking through her shredded clothes. “My god...” She said softly.
“I'll be downstairs.” Bruce told her somberly before leaving the room.
“I.... I need a mirror.” Jennifer said as she stood with the help of Ben and Felicia.
“I think the one in the bathroom is big enough.” Ben told her as they made their way to her bathroom.
Jennifer stared at her reflection. “Oh my god, I'm gorgeous!” She said as she stared. She posed in the mirror and in doing so caused what remained of her shirt to rip and fall off.
“Ben can I have your shirt? Ben?” Jennifer asked.
Ben stared. They were just below eye level, mocking him. The next thing he knew they weren't right in front of him anymore and he was being shaken.
“Ben, snap out of it!” Jennifer said as she shook her boyfriend.
Ben blinked as he came to his senses. “Jennifer.... I'm at full mass right now.”
“Huh.” Jennifer said as she caught on to what he was saying. “This is so cool! Why weren't you answering me?”
“Boobs.” Ben grinned.
Jennifer blushed and dropped Ben as she covered herself up.
Felicia snorted before falling over laughing.
Calvin looked up as his ears picked up some interesting sounds. “Somehow, I don't think they're too upset.” He said with a grin. “They're laughing.”
Bruce looked at Calvin. “Really?”
“Really.” Calvin said. “Oh, they're not laughing now. We should probably give them some time.”
“All ready?” Adrienne snorted. “Not much stops them does it?”
“The only thing that would stop Ben is an apocalypse.” Calvin smirked. “Bruce, you're taking us somewhere. I don't want to around to hear this right now.”
“I don't know if that's a good idea.” Bruce said. “This is LA.”
“And?” Cordelia Frost asked.
“Two words.” Bruce said. “Road Rage.”
The teens laughed while Bruce had a flat look on his face.
“Wait... you're not kidding are you?” Vance asked him.
“No.” Bruce said. “I'm not. I hate driving, and I hate traffic. Don't any of you have a license?”
“Fine, I'll drive.” Calvin sighed. “You're no fun, you know that?”
“Okay, that was different.” Jennifer said as she blew a lock of deep emerald green hair out of her face.
Ben nuzzled her chest while Felicia was snoring softly off to the side of the queen sized bed.
She looked down at her boyfriend. “Could you stop doing that? It's...distracting.”
“Does that mean you're ready to go again?” Ben asked her. “Cause I am.”
“I noticed.” She said with a hint of mirth in her voice. She rolled her eyes. “Fine.”
Ben teleported to above the bed so he could pounce much to Jennifer's delight.
“What is it?” Cordelia asked her husband who looked up from his dessert.
“I feel like punching my clone for some reason.” Xander said as he scratched his head. “Weird.”
“This is a Robbery!” A man shouted as he pulled a machine gun from under his jacket.
“I swear to god.” Cordelia muttered as Xander disappeared. A second later the barrel of the gun at been bent back and the robber was unconscious. Five seconds after that someone pinched her ass.
“Fine, let's go.” Cordelia said to thin air. “You're going to pay for that later mister.”
Xander pinched her again.
“So you're not upset that I'm taller than you now?” Jennifer asked him.
“Hmm?” Ben said as he looked up at her. “You were saying something?”
“I'm going need at least a bra on if I'm going to have a real conversation with you aren't I?” Jennifer sighed.
“I'm sorry.” Ben shrugged. He wasn't really. “I mean, have you looked at your breasts lately? I thought they were great before but now? They're mesmerizing. Downright sensational!”
Felicia woke up. “Are we having sex again?” She asked them.
“Yes.” Ben told her.
“Okay.” She said before rolling over and going back to sleep.
Jennifer sighed. “Poor girl. We're going to have to work on her stamina.”
“We used to say the same thing about you.” Ben told her. He got a gleam in his eye.
"We're going to have to leave the room sometime." Jennifer grinned.
"There's always tomorrow." Ben told her.
