Contemplating escape plans.

Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars or Harry Potter.

Mantika could remember the betrayal like it was yesterday. He and Sidious had been sent on a mission to secure a supposed vault of Xim the Despot near Kessel that contained Sith power. As we neared the Maw; we each prepared to cross the gravity wells safely. As I took my position near the pilot’s controls and focused my power he felt agony; nay screamed in pain as the force lightining cascaded down his frame; in vain he tried to crush Sidious’s pitiful frame with his powers. Amid the agony; he could not focus enough to stop him from passing me into the Maw and into what he thought was his doom. The Force apparently was not done tormenting him. He was exiled onto Earth; unaging and slightly magical.

He had advised chieftains and small warlords; he had tried to train an Apprentice, but they were all lacking. For the most part, he had stayed in a wizard’s tower in the magical world in virtual seclusion. He nearly left for Grindelwald’s rise and again for Voldemort’s. However; they were no where near his power; no where near an acceptable starting level for an Apprentice.

Bleigst was getting close again it was time to stop reminiscing. Mantika just played the dutiful son role following around his step-father. He was close to cracking open the formulae for crafting a magical equivalent of a lightsaber; he knew it.

He had to make the spell simple enough so that his Apprentice could use it with a minimum of fuss. Right now the ritual to construct the weapon took enough time to severely inconvenience him and failed to last even a day.

After he had a fitting weapon then the search to leave this blasted planet and crush Sidious could resume. He was blocked by the Order of Dagon and any large-scale application of power against them could result in loss of options.

He also wished to assuage his pride at being tricked. He assumed that Sidious had already killed off the old man and maybe had an Apprentice already. If so; he would need the distraction an Apprentice could provide to Sidious’s apprentice.

He had heard of another option for leaving; the Scroll of the Ultimate unfortunately it was guarded by a stuck-up version of a Jedi.

Maybe he’d look into the Hellmouth he heard that there was an untrained magic user that could be corrupted and pull away at those blasted monks of Dagon.
