Xander woke up, gasping.
"Okay, now that was strange," he muttered to himself. He sighed as he glanced at his door, listening to his parents large arguing. "But that's not."
He couldn't understand what he just dreamed. Was it real? It felt real, but it was also too good to be true. He knew what he had to do. He had to find the Halliwells and see if this Chris person exsisted. If any of them did.
Quickly he threw on the first pair of clothes that he found. They, of course, didn't match. He hurried to the magic shop.
A few hours later he blinked as more lights were turned on.
"Xander?" Giles frowned as he closed the door. "What on Earth..." His voice trailed off as he saw the books sprawled out in front of the young man. "Are you doing?" He finished.
"I have to find this family," Xander told him. "The Halliwells, I think. Yes. He mentioned Patty Halliwell. Victor's ex wife."
"Who's Victor?" Giles asked, completly baffled.
"He could be my biological father," Xander said anxiously. Giles stared at him.
"Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction to it," Xander added.
"I don't...under...your father?" Giles sat down.
Slowly Xander tried to explain his dream the best he could.
"And so you want to see if this family even exists," Giles finished for him.
"Yeah." Xander nodded. "I know this was probably just a weird dream, and all, but I have to make sure. Something like this.."
"Yes, of course you'd Want answers. But Xander, what about your real parents? Don't they have a say in this? And why don't you ask them?"
"Obviously you don't know my parents. They don't care about me. Not really. They wouldn't tell me the truth. My old man's famous for his lying. And my mother's too scared to defy him. He controlls both of their lives. And he loves to try and control mine."
"And so you are determined to find this family, whoever they are?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Very well then, you'll need all the help you can get." Wordlessly, than, he took a book and began flipping the pages, and both quietly resumed researching for a family they weren't even sure existed....
(Okay, really short, I know. But I'll make the next ones longer)
