Sheppard found himself releasing a breath of relief as Willow slowly returned to consciousness. When Willow was out of action Atlantis tended to be a little more fraught, both with the city itself and it’s inhabitants.

Realising she was in the infirmary she looked to John. “Ow. What happened?”

“There was an unexpected gate activation during our mission to M6S-1267. You teleported back to the gate to help out but one of the newbies shot you when you startled him.” Sheppard explained as Keller checked her over.

“See that’s why I don’t like guns. Is he OK?”

“Is he OK! Willow he shot you.” McKay exclaimed.

“Yeah but they weren’t expecting a friendly Rodney. I should have warned them or something.”

“Sheppard talk to her!” John rolled his eyes.

“Don’t worry about it. Anyway he’s been punished enough, Ronon found out who fired the shot.” Sheppard glanced over at the Satedan who’d edged back as the explanations had continued.

“He broke his jaw.” Rodney added smugly pointing to a bed across the infirmary.

Willow looked at the Pegasus native disappointedly. “Ronon Dex, you go over there and apologise right now mister!”

John smiled. Everything was back to normal.
