Disclaimer: I don’t own Naruto or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
“Why are you prowling around here at this time of night?” Sasuke asked Sakura.
Sakura stared back at him with uncharacteristically hard eyes. She had hoped she was wrong about Sasuke going to Orochimaru, but her deductive abilities hadn’t let her down. Now she had to stop him no matter what and thanks to a certain girl living on the Mouth of Hell who dressed up as her, she knew she could.
“You aren’t going anywhere,” Sakura said, “If you try, I’ll kick your ass and if you try again after that, I’ll kick your ass again.”
That had really sounded like something Naruto would say, but her Buffy memories told her it was the right thing to say.
“Go home and go to bed,” he replied, completely brushing her off.
He moved to go around her. As soon as they were perfectly side by side, she grabbed his wrist and pulled as hard as she could with her newfound strength, probably dislocating his arm in the process. She took advantage of his surprise and punched him in the head using her free hand before he could react. Sakura then lifted her unconscious crush up and held him bridal style as she headed for the hospital.
“When you come to your senses and realize what a mistake I kept you from making, you are definitely going to have to take me on a date,” she declared.
