AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is the first of a series of drabbles. I have less time to write and some bad writer’s block. But I had this idea of Xander being Calleigh’s cousin that began to write itself. Hope you enjoy.

Daniel Cooper swore he locked the door.

Suddenly a chill went down his spine.

"Hey, Cooper," a voice rang out. "For a computer wiz, your home security bites."

Dan walked into his living room. Sitting in front of his computers was a shaggy haired man wearing an eyepatch. A shotgun was cradled in his lap.

"Why is there a website about Calleigh Duquesne with her cell phone number on it?" he asked grimly.

"You another cop or boyfriend?"

"No, Coop. I'm Xander Harris. Calleigh’s my favorite cousin."

"Oh shit."

"Most definitely."

“I can explain.”

“Your explanation better be REAL good.”
