The Mystery Woman

AN: And here it is, not much longer though...
DSCLMR: Still not owning.

Spike and Lindsey appeared on the sidewalk at the same spot he had disappeared from only two hours earlier.

“Lindsey.” Eve flung her arms around still disoriented Lindsey and began crying. “Thank you.” She told Spike. “Thank you.”

Spike still couldn’t fathom why he had just helped the two people who had enjoyed spending this last year messing with him and Angel. “No problem.” He lied. “All in a days work.”

Eve pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket. “It’s all there. Name, address, phone number.” She handed it to Spike. “If anyone would know what the Senior Partners had planned, it would be her. And she would probably be one of the only ones who would willingly tell you. I’m sorry I can’t help you anymore.”

Spike and Connor turned to leave.

“Spike.” Called a raspy voice.

Spike and Connor stopped.

“Thanks.” Lindsey told him. “And… good luck.”
