Mark IV

I'm back, after ages and ages. I know. And I'm sorry, but life has been really hectic.

Well, the best apology is a new chapter, right?

So here it comes! Have fun!!!

"Don't you ever do that again." He scolded her, pulling her close to his chest.

"You're crushing me." Dawn laughed, which made Tony loosen his grip slightly.

"Sorry." he mumbled, still looking worried. "But that was dangerous. He could have hurt you."

Dawn couldn't keep herself from snorting unladylike.

"Oh please. The old man never stood a chance against me. Besides, what was I supposed to do? Watch him take that arc from your chest? You would have died. You were in much more danger, than I was." Dawn pointed out, but Tony didn't care. He pulled Dawn closer to him again, his face buried in her long hair.

"I don't care in how much danger I am, as long as you are safe." Dawn smiled and blushed at the same time. She hadn't known, that Tony thought that. It was really sweet.

"But I'm alright. And you should know by now, that I am not that easily to endanger." Dawn mumbled into his shirt. Tony let go of her a little, but only to lean down and kiss her.

Dawn sighed and enjoyed the feeling of his lips on hers, his tongue battling with her own. Eventually, they had to come up for air. Dawn drew in a shaky breath and smiled up at him. Her smile faltered ever so little, when she remembered waking up without him next to her.

"But just to make one thing clear." she began and Tony raised a questioning eyebrow at her, obviously not knowing what she was about to tell him.
"I really didn't like it that, after our first night together, I wake up, finding you not with me." She tried her best to not show him, how vulnerable she had felt. After everything she knew about Tony, she somehow expected him to lose all interest in her. Which, considering their kiss just minutes ago, obviously wasn't the case.

But Tony knew her too well to fall for her act. He leaned closer to her and whispered:
"I'm sorry. I was just getting something to eat for both of us, when Obadiah showed up. I really wanted to wake up next to you, you know?! But, the good thing is... we have lots of days ahead of us, where we can do exactly that."

Dawn felt tears stinging her eyes. His words meant so much to her, as it showed just how serious he was about this relationship.

"Now that you mention it. I am really hungry." Dawn changed the topic. Tony nodded and lead her into the kitchen.

"When you finished eating and getting dressed, there is something I want to show you!" he said, while Dawn made herself a sandwich. It seemed that after the whole ordeal Tony wasn't hungry anymore. He just watched her eat.

"What?" Dawn asked curious swallowing a mouthful of her sandwich.

"You'll see it then." he answered mysteriously. That peeked Dawn's interest. She ate the sandwich as fast as she could without gobbling.

"Alright. Finished. I'm gonna get changed." She told him and quickly raced from the kitchen. Up the stairs into her room.

In no time she stood washed and dressed in the living room.

"Tony?" she asked and he emerged from the kitchen.

"Wow, that was fast." he smirked, while Dawn just shrugged her shoulders. She was too curious about what Tony wanted to show her.

"So?" she asked looking up at him expectantly.

"For that we have to go to the workshop." Tony answered, took her hand and lead her down the stairs. After unlocking the door he said:

"I have been thinking about this for quite a while and I think I need your help now. Because I have one or two ideas I can't handle alone."

His words left Dawn utterly confused. There was something mechanial that he couldn't handle? But she still followed him until they stopped in front of a new suit. It was silver, not gold and red, like the other. Why did he make another?
Wasn't his first good enough?

Before she could answer that question, she realized something. The suit was smaller and more petite.

"It's yours. I thought about powering it with your magic."

Wide eyed Dawn stared at the amazing suit. It was hers?

That was just wicked and she couldn't wait to use it.

Wow, that's it, kinda proud, that the chapter turned out to be so long!!!

I hope you like it, if you do kindly leave me a review!
