This time I leave it up to the readers imagination what Xander does. Oh and yay Jonathan get's center stage, kind of.Disclaimer: Joss and Mutant Enemy Productions owns everybody, not me, to claim otherwise would be suicidal. That is all.
Jonathan Levinson walked slowly down the hall with a quiet hint of dread overwhelming his thoughts, he was feeling seriously disturbed what with all the homework he had to do for the football team among other things. On top of that Cordelia wouldn’t give him the time of day, and she’d been dating Xander Harris of all people until recently. Xander seemed distant towards her, colder some how after Valentine’s Day. He tended to hang out more with Amy Madison even his best friend Willow was avoided.
And what was worse, a lot of people had noticed. In fact the biggest jock of all Gregory what’s-his-name had taken to avoiding Xander at all costs. On top of that Larry was spreading some bad rumors that Harris couldn’t take care of his woman. Everyone knew what it was a cover for. Larry wasn’t fooling anybody these days, not after Buffy took care of him back on Halloween.
“Mister Harris, my office, now!” Snyder’s unmistakable voice ordered from his doorway. Jonathan froze watching as Xander slowly turned and shot Principal Snyder a glare. Almost as if he was walking in slow motion he stalked up to Snyder and entered his office.
“Uh oh,” Jonathan remarked creeping up to the door to hear what was happening.
“Mister Harris I don’t know why I haven’t expelled you yet for missing a whole week of school, and I certainly do not buy that story about your questionably serious injury in your uncle’s car. I have decided now is the time to deal with this, as of today you are hereby expelled from Sunnydale High,” Snyder informed with a hint of malicious glee in his tone. Jonathan heard something next that made him want to back away from the door for his own sanity’s sake.
“Would you care to repeat that?” Xander demanded in a voice as brittle as glass.
“Now see here you can’t threaten me, you are out. O U T out do I make myself perfectly clear?” Snyder demanded putting on a false hint of bravado. Jonathan had to blink away the nervous sweat from his eyes next as he heard a sound that was so alien to him he barely recognized it as having come from Xander Harris. Before he could say or do anything Principal Snyder let out a whimper and his office door flew open slamming Jonathan in the nose almost breaking it as the man literally fled from his own office. As he was running away Jonathan thought he heard him say something about Principal Flutie and it wasn’t going to happen to him like that.
“Hi Jono,” Xander greeted with a lopsided grin as he exited the principal’s office.
“H-H-H-Hi,” Jonathan stammered before rushing off down the hall to P.E. class.
“Strange kid,” Xander muttered thoughtfully as he walked past the trophy case and briefly eyed the now empty place where a certain cheerleading trophy had once been. He grinned ferally studying his reflection in the glass and a laugh escaped him. “I’ve always dreamt of doing that ever since he took over from Flutie, maybe I should have had a tighter leash on my Pack back then, Snyder has to be the worst Principal we’ve had by far.” Shaking his head Xander left walking off to the library, sooner or later Giles would hear of what happened, maybe it was time to let the cat out of the bag. Or in his case, the Raptor out of her/his Pen.The End
