A Force Visit
Kim watched as Leia opened the door for her. Kim walked in to the room and looked around. There was a bed and a desk. There was also another door which Kim could only guess went to the bathroom. Kim nodded and turned toward Leia and Ben. She smiled at the both of them.
“Is this going to be alright?”
“It's fine, but I do have a question for you.”
“Where can I get the parts to build a light saber?”
“I'm not really sure, but I can get one of the students to bring the parts to you.”
“Thank you. I think I'll just clean up than.” Kim watched Leia lead Ben out of the room.
Kim waited until the door closed before heading to clean up. She quickly showered and went back to meditate before one of the students brought the parts for the light saber She needed to center her thoughts before she saw Skywalker again. Kim noticed that all of her clothes were on her bed. She also noticed that there was another door that led to a closet. Kim picked out one of her sports bras and a pair of sweat pants. She got dressed and sat down to meditate.
She had just started meditating when she felt Skywalker's father come in through the force. She knew that he was here for a reason. She also knew that she wouldn't be able to meditate until he said what he had to say to her. She slowly opened her eyes and turned toward him.
“What are you doing here Anakin?”
“I came to see how you were doing.”
“You guys weren't watching what happened when I woke up.”
“Of course we were. That's why I'm here. I wanted to tell you not to give up. Luke will come around, but you have to prove yourself to him. He's been through a lot since he was 18 years old.”
“I understand that Anakin, but that doesn't mean he needed to call me a lier when I told him about my parents.”
“Kim you saw everything he went through. Ben was his first master. He saw him as a father. To hear that there was a part of him that he didn't know about has got to him. Just remember that you are here to help him and my grandson.”
“I know. I promise I'll be more patient with him, but I won't promise that I won't take him down a peg or two in a spar.”
“I wouldn't expect anything less from you. Just keep it in mind that he is going through a lot right now.”
“I know Anakin. Now can you leave so I can meditate before I have to deal with your son at dinner.” Anakin nodded his head and laughed as he vanished back into the force.
Kim closed her eyes and began to meditate. As she began to meditate, she felt Luke step up to her door. He stopped for a few minutes and than headed for the room across from hers. She ignored it and headed into a deep meditative state.
Luke couldn't believe that Leia had just told him that she had made friends with Kim Hart. All Luke wanted was for Hart to go back to where she came from. There was something about her that was driving him crazy. He couldn't figure it out. He just wanted her to go away.
He still couldn't believe that she was claiming to be Ben's daughter. Leia, Han, and the kids seemed to believe her, but Luke just couldn't believe her. Leia had mentioned all of them going to Tatooine, but Luke couldn't bring himself to go back. He had hated that planet ever since he could remember. His Aunt and Uncle had loved it, but he had just wanted off the planet since he could walk.
He had walked up to his door when he felt her in the room across from his room. Luke stepped up to her door, but had stopped himself from ringing the bell to her room. He shook his head and quickly headed toward his own room. He decided he needed to meditate. He needed to clear his head so he could figure out what he needed to do. He needed to let the Force guide his next move.
Luke sat down to begin meditating when he realized that he wasn't alone in his room. A presence just appeared in his quarters. Luke opened his eyes to see Mara standing there watching him. Luke stared at her. She smiled when she saw his jaw drop open to see her standing there watching him through the Force. Luke watched as Mara came to sit next to him. He was just about to speak when Mara beat him to it.
“Mara? What's going on?”
“”I'm only here to tell you something Luke. I can't stay long.”
“You have to stay Mara. I can't go on without you.”
“You can and you will Luke. That's what I'm here to tell you. If you just have to let people in again Luke, you will be able to move on. The fate of the galaxy depends on it. You can't let my death keep you from living.”
“Mara, you're my other half.”
“No I'm not Luke. I was just someone to keep you on the right track while you waited for your true soul mate to actually arrive.”
“No you were my soul mate Mara.”
“No, I'm not Luke, even though she's closer than you think Luke. Trust me on this okay.”
“Luke, I don't have much time left. I need you to listen to me. If you don't, it could destroy the galaxy. Kim was brought here to protect you and Ben from the Dark Side of the Force. You need to trust her Luke. I know you're having problems with that because of what she told you, but she did tell you the truth Luke. Obi-Wan was her father. Just go to Tatooine, all the answers to your questions are there. I have to go. Just remember that I love you and Ben with everything I have.”
“Mara!” Luke yelled as Mara faded into the force.
Luke shook his head to try to clear it. He really needed to meditate. He trusted Mara, but he wanted to consult the Force in this matter. He didn't want to go back to Tatooine. His worse memories took place on that planet. Of course, that didn't include the fact that Leia, Han, and Luke had destroyed Jabba the Hut. He wasn't exactly a wanted man, but he didn't want to go back to find out he was. Again he cleared his head and began to meditate.
