He had brought his student from Boston to his home in St. Louis. She had been quite eager to go especially after that tight-ass Brit Lady as his student referred to her as had tried to claim that the girl might have a destiny as a supernaturally-inclined warrior destined to fight against the forces of darkness. It didn’t exactly help the Brit’s position when the wet-works team had tried to force the issue. Fortunately, Huntress had been around for a visit otherwise it might have gone a little farther south than anyone would have wanted. He heard the door to the dojo slam shut as his student entered.




“I trust that you’re ready.” He said to her.




“Five by five, Dick.” Faith replied.




“Then, let’s begin.” He replied.
