Chapter Five

Throughout the next 48 hours the source tried to make Buffy turn evil because of the 48 hour window of opportunity, where a witch new to the craft can be swayed either way good or evil. All the tricks that he tried to use possessing Shane, trying to make her kill a man, and trying to make her go against her sisters all failed because she was a slayer and already good.

“You just can’t mess with sisters.”

“I might not have been able to break you apart now, but I have ended the charmed destiny once and I will do it again.” The source said.

Later a P3 Piper, Phoebe, Cole and Leo are all sitting enjoying drinks when Buffy comes in.

“Hey does this mean that I get free drinks now…..hehe……not…not that I drink or anything….ok I’m going to go now.”

“No don’t be crazy you belong here.”

“Are…..are you sure?”

“Yeah…….come sit right here.” Phoebe told her.

So she goes and sits right next to her on the couch.

“So how’s Shane?”

“He’s ok….doesn’t remember anything though but he knows that it is somehow related to me…..and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to talk to me anymore.”

“Well you’re not really a Halliwell until you date a demon.” Piper says.

Buffy starts laughing and says “Yeah well been there done that………….. twice actually.”

Piper and Phoebe look at each other with a little bit of confusion and start to laugh.

“Come we need to show you something.”

“What?”

“What good magic can really do.”

In the attic of the manor Piper and Phoebe chant:

Hear these word,
Hear my cries,
Spirit from the other side,
Come to me,
I summon thee,
Cross now the great divide.

Then balls of white light start to come down from the ceiling and start to form……………a person.

“Mom?!”

Sure enough it was Patricia Halliwell.

“Paige?!”

Then Patty walks out of the candles and become corporeal again, and they hug.
