Prologue

Willow said the final words of her spell amidst a circle of golden candles. The scythe in her hands started to emit a white light that surrounded her. As the spell pulsed in intensity her hair turned gleaming white. Her head shot up, eyes wide as she is consumed by the bliss of the spell. The light grew so much, it blinded Kennedy where she stood by the door. At the peak of brilliance, a pulsing wave of energy shot out from Willow.

As the light began to fade, Kennedy turned to face the room. She blinked in disbelief, not ready to trust her eyes. As she looked into the circle of still burning candles, she only sees the scythe, no Willow.

"Willow? Where are you?" Kennedy whispered as the ground under her feet rumbled. Kennedy raced forward and snatched the scythe, then dashed out the door as she said to herself, "I'll tell Buffy later. Kill uber ugly first, save Willow second."

As the last of her words echoed in the empty room, the candles suddenly blew out. A soft sigh trembled around the empty room, where moments ago Willow awakened all the slayers across the world. The strength of the spell sent shock waves into the cosmos, and rippled into other realities.
