Another conversation and an blushing superhero

This idea for another chapter came to awhile back and I just got around to writing the other day. Be warned, it gets a little off color.

More conversations. An earlier one and downstairs.

Superman stood as he listened to Doctor Fate, the one named Rupert Giles and the young woman called Willow Rosenberg. The three were discussing the best place for the ritual as the others in the room waited.

“So you’re Superman.”

He turned to the source of the question. A short brunette wearing a red tanktop, with her hands on her hip was surveying him, in an almost predatory way.

“Miss?” He said to her.

“I’m Faith, they call you the Man of Steel and why is that?” She asked, still surveying him.

“You’re one of the Slayers.” He said, not sure how to respond to her question.

“Now is that Steel, the whole body or certain parts?” Superman heard another of the Slayers half snort/giggle at that question. Faith continued on. “Lois Lane, she has never struck me as someone who knows her way around a construction site. Me, well ask the Xan man about that.”

Superman blinked. “Faith is it, I think we need concentrate on the ritual, we need to find out where the urn was taken to.”

“Come on, Giles, Red and Helmet head are on top of it. Then we do our thing and afterwards, well you know how one gets hot and heavy after a slay and the need for release.”

“I don’t?” was the confused reply.

Faith grinned. “Oh, I can have so much fun with you.”

“Ms Faith, I don’t think that would be appropriate.”

“Uh, Ms, I don’t think anyone has called me that in a long time, I bet you’re a perfect gentleman. Don’t worry I can cure you of that.” Faith cooed.

Superman started blushing. “Well, Oh, Maybe I could talk to.” He straightened himself up. “There might be some leads we haven’t found yet about the urn. Maybe if I scanned the area while flying.”

“Oh, scanning while flying, now that sounds kinky.”

Superman now turned beet red. “Excuse me. It’s best if I start looking right now.” With that he turned and hurried out of the room.

Faith smirked before she was startled by Giles’ voice.

“Faith, please stop tormenting the superheroes.”
