Summary: Buffy gets a present from her best friend Kelly.

As soon as she had been told yes seven-year-old Buffy Summers ran out of her house headed towards her best friend Kelly Gibbs house. It was her favorite place to be, but ever since her Father had realized that she would rather be there then home he had tried his best to stop her from going there. Buffy was glad that when he wasn’t home her Mom didn’t listen to him and let her go see her friend. As she ran up the driveway she almost ran into Kelly’s Father Jethro as he stepped out of his car. A smile broke out across her face when she saw him. It was at times like this the little girl liked to believe that Jethro was her Dad and not Hank.

“What’s the hurry pretty girl?” Gibbs asked Buffy as she leaped into his arms for a hug.

Buffy grinned as she realized that Gibbs had used the nickname that he had given her. She was the only one he called pretty girl. It made her feel like part of the Gibbs family.

“I came to play with Kelly,” Buffy replied with a grin.

“I’m sure Kelly will be excited to see you,” Gibbs told her as they walked into the house.

As soon as they were inside Kelly ran up to them hugging them both in turn. Then Kelly grabbed Buffy’s hand and dragged her into her room. Buffy hadn’t been there in three days and Kelly had missed her friend.

“Daddy bought me a new doll yesterday,” Kelly told her happily as she showed her a doll in a blue dress, “Daddy said we could get you a doll too.”

Kelly went over to her night stand and pulled of a doll that looked like Kelly’s except her dress was green, which was Buffy’s favorite color. Buffy grinned. She was happy that Kelly and her Dad had thought of her when they went to the toy store.

“This is the best present ever,” Buffy told Kelly as she hugged her best friend.
