Author's Notes: I know I said once a day, but I coud barely contain myself, I so want to get to the part that is the crossover. So I decided since it is probably tomorrow half way around the world from me I figured I'd post the second part of this new series. Which will be made into a series after the big revea so as not to spoil anything. And yes I am aware I could have posted this as a second chapter to the first one, but that's not how I want this series of ficlets to be. Plus there's the whole turns into a crossover halfway through the story so, yeah.

Disclaimer: Buffy and Co. are Joss's baby not mine, that is all.

Xander yawned briefly as he sat across from his three closest friends, apparently they couldn’t find Giles anywhere and had resulted to waking up their second best option. Since taking over as head of the Cleveland branch Xander had, had to deal with tons of late hours. Still there was only so much the human body could take.

“Ok let me see if I’ve got this straight, all three of you are having the same dream, you wanted to ask Giles about it because Faith flipped out on Buffy earlier while sparring so you woke me up because you couldn’t find Giles and thought I might know something about where he’d gone,” Xander summarized rubbing the sleep from his eye.

“Pretty much, boy toy,” Faith stated with a nod.

“Ok… well to start off Giles was only here to oversee the changing of the guard. He went back to London yesterday afternoon,” Xander explained. “As for the shared dream subconscious memory trying to come back thing, well isn’t there like some kind of memory retrieval spell you could cast?”

“I promised Tara I’d never cast that kind of spell again, it’s too easy to go from retrieving a memory to messing around with them,” Willow stated.

“Well then I guess we could always try hypnosis,” Xander said with a shrug.

“Like that would work,” Buffy commented rolling her eyes.

“It’s possible,” Willow mused a thoughtful look gracing her features.

“I think I’d rather try the mojo,” Faith said, “I mean. What?”

Buffy and Willow were both looking at her oddly.

“Mojo, that just sounds so familiar for some reason,” Buffy admitted.

“You too?” Willow asked. “Strange, I didn’t think of that until just now.”

“Uh, girls, not to complain, but can this wait until morning if we are going to try the hypnosis thing?” Xander requested politely.

Buffy, Willow and Faith all shared a look and reluctantly sighed.

“Ok, but I still think a memory spell would be better,” Faith stated bluntly, her arms were still crossed over her chest.

“No,” Willow said.

“Relax, Willow we won’t force you to use any spells you don’t want to,” Buffy assured shooting Faith a glare. Faith childishly stuck her tongue out and Buffy returned the gesture.

Willow shot them incredulous stares. “Uh, does anyone else think that was kind of weird?” she asked. Buffy and Faith both nodded; Xander just snored slightly from where he’d actually fallen asleep at his desk. “Awwww poor Xander, we really shouldn’t have woken him up,” Willow admitted.

“Yeah, come on let’s get the guy back up to bed?” Buffy suggested.

Faith grinned as she and Buffy picked Xander up and carried him back up to bed. “Wanna strip him down to his skivvies and see what happens in the morning?” she asked with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

Buffy sighed, but Willow giggled. “Definitely.” She had some idea how Xander would react in the morning, but considering how much trouble she’d been having sleeping. Well a little harmless practical joke couldn’t hurt.
