Prologue - First Meeting

I do not own Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-Men, or anything related to them.

You don't actually have to read the first story in the series to understand this one. Everything will be explained in this one, probably more than stuff is explained in the rest of the series.

“Ooph.” The sound came from whoever Dawn had just run into. She squeaked in surprise before looking up into the strangest eyes she had ever seen. Red on black.

“Are you human?” the question came out before she could stop it. She looked horrified while the man in front of her had an amused look on his face.

“I believe so, yes.” There was humor in his voice, so he obviously found the conversation funny at least.

“Then how did you get your eyes like that?”

“Mutant.”

“Ah, that explains it.” Her watch beeped and she looked at it, before letting loose a string of curses that sent the man’s eyebrows upwards. “Crap, I’m late. Harry’s gonna freak! Sorry for running into you!” Dawn stepped around him and took off at a fast-paced walk through the crowd.

Neither of them thought they’d ever see each other again.
