Shadowy Xander

Disclaimer: This is a BTVS/ Wizards of the Coast cross, the exact Wizards of the Coast book is the Tome of Magic.
Xander was at a loss for a decent costume, one that would look good and still infuriate the Troll. Infuriating the Troll was key, he had a stupid restriction that said he couldn't be dressed as anything not rated G and had to escort sugar-hyped runts around town.

The soldier was out as well as the half dozen costumes of church inquisitors. But wait that suit made out of dark colored clothes that looked like a Puritan was perfect. Sure he'd have to leave behind the sickle, but otherwise Ethan's Costume Emporium was his one stop costume supply shop!

Much later after the spell

Evanesco opened his eyes, yes this was darkness and conducive to the shadows he used. But this town was far darker than the shadows that Pelor left. His worship of the Shining One was not a heresy; just a different approach according to the Radiant Speaker.

Evanesco let off a mystic reflections to see the arcane marks that impinged on Pelor's light.
As he was following the trail, he heard a scream and rushed to aid the woman in distress.
It was a human woman, scared of a hulking mess of steel, using his shadow hand he shooed her away.

Evanesco continued on down the street; ready to loose an arrow of dusk if there was an attack on his person. The night was full and the moon cast wonderful shadows on the way to his destination. A mere magic workers abode masquerading as a store. Of course, there was a disconcerting feeling that he was being watched.

Rather than turning around; he whispered the incantation for widened eyes and saw a vampire.
A disgusting child of the night with a fondness for leather. Offering a short prayer to the Lord of the Sun, he whirled around and spat out his bolt of shadow. His bolt of shadow was different; this time it was joined by the radiance of the Shining One and it struck the abomination true.

As the abomination burst into flames. Evanesco continued down the street stopping at the door to the terminus of the arcane flows. Picking up a trashcan, he hurled it through the plate glass window.
Using a fallen metal rod, he cleared away some of the glass and stepped into the store.

Quickly crossing the room, he used the metal rod to push open the back door, he smacked the mage supplicating before his focus. Once he was sure the mage would not bother him he reached inside of himself and used another shadow hand to move the focus off its base and send it crashing down to the floor.

Evanesco felt his spirit disjoin from his body, he was going to see Lord Pelor.

A/N: Should I go on? Please R&R flames will be used constructively.
