A Meeting On A Cathedral in the Rain.

I sense him sitting...no...crouching like the gargoyle next to him. Stepping forward on the narrow stone buttress top, I dance across in the descending mist till I can see him with more than just my soul.
He has the form of a man, mostly. His body is muscular and well formed, his breath is regular, and he tenses as I approach but does not move to turn or react otherwise. The light drifting down from the rain blotted moon becomes clearer now and I can see his hair is the color of ivy. His skin is oddly colored as well, the moon revealing a nearly naked back and chest of a mustard hue.
He stands. What I thought was a red shaggy cloak covering his shoulders is actually part of him. A mane, which even in the rain, writhes as he moves. His mind is glowing with chaos and fun and...curiosity? Moving towards me at a crouched, semi-bestial lope he smiles, revealing strong bright teeth that gleam in the moonlight. He begins to laugh softly and I begin to shift away, scenes of pain and terror filling my sight. He sees my face, my reaction, and stops both moving and laughing. Slowly he backs away, still in his crouch, turning his palms up to the sky as if to say, "I will not harm you."
I stand, he crouches, facing each other across the rain-slick stone. A smile begins again on his face, and he moves to his previous spot looking over the city. I move closer and stand next to him also looking out over the flickering lights. He looks up at me and speaks, "So, come here often?"
I cannot help myself, I begin to giggle, he smirks and joins me, till both of us are laughing in the rain.
