I have decided to cease my wandering for a time. This city that I find myself in, is easily large enough to conceal the presence of such as I, and I have grown so weary. The moonlight spoke to me last night and wove tales of the wonders that reside here, so I have decided to stay. At least for a little while.

I have found myself a nest and several grocers who will provide my supper. I was subtly warned that feeding directly would not be the wisest of choices, and as the type of creature that offered that warning is not normally terribly partial to mortals unless they are in his belly, I have decided to take him at his word.

But here I am. All alone, the most prodigal daughter. Grandmum is gone for good, and Daddy doesn't want me any more and my poor sweet William...

Still and all I am upright and willing to face the world, and I can feel a great lashing of fate and happenstance all boiling and roiling around in the future, here in this city, and it looks so awfully interesting...
