Willow and Oz were shopping in Diagon Alley with Draco. It was sort of nice, she would admit. Draco wasn't being a jerk. Willow had noticed the only male he truly got along with was Blaise. Oz appeared to be another exception.
She was trying to talk them into going into the Bookstore. Oz was saying they'd never get her out.
"Willow Rosenberg, you need to come with us."
Willow was surprised when her hands were suddenly bound.
Draco was already pulling his wand from his jacket when Oz grabbed his arm.
"What in the bloody hell is this," Draco said through his bared teeth.
"Ministry business, Malfoy."
Oz growled. Draco elbowed him. He'd already explained how unkindly the Ministry looked upon werewolves.
Willow was scared, but she needed to keep it together so the boys would not do anything rash. Draco already looked like he was going to draw and start hexing.
"Just go tell Giles and possibly Hannah since she's our liaison. I'll be all right, guys. I haven't done anything wrong."
Or had she? Willow's mind was racing. Could this be about what she did to Ella's hair?
Draco watched as the hauled Willow off like a criminal. He was seething. It was a good thing he meditated to control his temper.
"Come on, Osbourne."
"We need to tell Giles," Oz agreed.
Draco was stalking towards the Leaky so he could apparate the both of them to the Council.
"Oh I have someone better in mind," Draco said, sinister grin on his face. "Never mess with a Slytherin... or something they consider theirs."
"Okaaaaaaaaaay," Oz said, brow furrowed.
Draco was weird sometimes. Like really weird. He acted funny and possessive and drama queen-y about the weirdest things, and his little proverbs about Slytherins and the Black Family were odd too. Like Addams Family-ish. Oz almost wished sometimes that Wednesday was real and a grown up. She and Draco would make a fabulous couple.
Draco apparated them to the Council grounds and hurried inside.
"Go tell Giles."
"Where are you going?" Oz asked.
"To floo my Aunt Andy."
"Let's just say there's a side to her, when provoked, that would rival the Ripper side of Rupert Giles. She might have been the sweetest of the three sisters, but she's still a Black at heart. She also has the best wizarding solicitor on retainer. I think she can help here."
"Willow being arrested will provoke her?"
Draco laughed humorlessly. "Oh yes."
