Chapter Eleven

Disclaimer: not mine

*"Sir, why was all gate-travel suspended?"

-"Because of the artistic endeavors of one of your team-members, Colonel."

-"Due to Major Harris' antics we have to wait for a new iris."

*"Guess that portrait of Thor didn't sit right with the techs, eh? Is it going to come out of Harris' pay?"

-"No, Thor quite liked his portrait."

*"He didn't?"

-"Yes, he bought the picture for his ship."

#"No, Major we can't sue them."

~"Why not, they aren't even making the real article?"

#"Can you even imagine the security issues involved in this?"

~"Fine, see you later, sir."

+"What was that about, sir?"

#"Hi, Sam, remember what Xander was doing over the weekend?"

+"He was roping in Tea'lc and Bra'tac into doing something stupid, I guess?"

#"And now he's trying to sue the company that's selling them, for false advertising."

+"Why, what were they doing yesterday?"

#"Baking cakes."

The whole nine yards

+"Are you really going to go through with this whole "ho-ho's versus twinkies" eating contest?"

~"We will, Sam, we will. Not even several Apocalypseseses..., what's the plural of Apocalypse?"

-"I believe it is Apoclypos, derived from the Greek..."

*"Shut up Danny-boy, okay, Harris are you ready?"

~"I was born ready, sir."

°"Are you going to eat them all, XanderHarris?"

~"I will, Tea'lc, I will, the whole nine yards of'em."

AN: I'm going to sound like a broken recording one of these days; PLEASE ADD YOUR OWN... Reviews and flames welcome as usual. And as to the term "the whole nine yards", as far as I know, it stems from machine-gun ammo-belts from WWII and Vietnam, which were nine yards long. So it means going all the way to get something done.
