Logan stared openly at the young woman on the other side of his apartment door. "Ken? What the hell are you doing here?" He took her in fully. "With luggage?"

"My girlfriend and I broke up. Long story, full of drama and self-actualization. Aunt Shira said you lived here, so here I am." She pushed past him, into the apartment. As she walked around, she continued to talk. "You can put up your favorite cousin for awhile, just while she looks for a new place or until they can transfer her work or whatever, right?"

He closed the door as she spoke, following her into the living room. "I thought you were living in New York."

"Was." She dropped her bags next to the couch. "Now, I'm staying in San Fran with my very favorite cousin in the world."

"Living in a run down house in Brazil is not expanded horizons."

"But I speak six languages."

"I'll give you that."

She leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. "All right, you want the straight skinny, don't you?"

Logan smirked. "Did I give you that feeling?"

"Always." She shook her head, trying to clear it. She started the long story of her estrangement from Willow. "Okay, so, we were getting pizza at Ray's..."
