I have said it before and I will say it again I own nothing but the plot line and make no money by writing this series.
Original owners own this and I am just borrowing the characters. I will give them back when I'm done. Maybe. Probably. Most likely.
Don't sue me.
I hope you enjoy.
The building was as bustling at three a.m. as it was at noon. The Miami Dade Crime lab was just closing it’s last case when Lt. Horatio Caine was called to the front desk.
A young man with bright blond hair stood in the lobby fiddling with a lighter as he waited.
“What seems to be the problem Jan?” Horatio asked the receptionist.
“This young man would like to talk to your boy, Lieutenant.”
Horatio turned to the blond and asked, “Can you tell me your name, young man?”
“The name is Spike old man, now will you just tell me where Xan-pet is so I can talk to ‘em.”
“How do you know my son and what brings you here?” can H’s reply.
“I know you’re boy cause he is a friend of mine and I came to see how the boy was coping in a new environment.” Spike shot back in his usual snarky drawl.
H was cut off by the arrival of the very boy they were talking about.
“Hey dad, Eric told me to come find you cause he needs you in the lab. Hey Spi…..Spike?!?!?!?!?!?”
“Whaaaaa….. What are you doing in Miami Spike?”
“Went to see ya in the basement of doom and couldn’t find ya, so I asked Glenda and she pointed the way here.” Spike answered the stunned boy.
Suddenly Spike was inches off the ground as he was hugged by the boy.
“I missed you Spike.”
“Missed you too, Pet.”
“Xander who is this person?” H finally asked.
“You remember what I told you runs around Sunnydale, dad?” Xander asked.
“Yes, and I remember telling you that you where not going back to that town in this life time.”
“Well dad, you have just met one of those strange people I told you about.” was Xander’s reply.
