I would love
if someone could do some artwork for this series (my artistic talent extends to stick figures and even then I suck). If anyone is interested I'd love to hear from you. There would be a fic in any 'verse as a reward. :DWarnings:
Post chosen for Buffy. Post Eclipse for Twilight. Set some time after the events in Fish Tacos.Disclaimer:
I own nothing. Buffy and Angel people belong to Joss and Mutant Enemy. Stephenie Meyers owns Twilight.
A person isn't supposed to be this scared of going to someone's place for a vacation, but Leah's scared shitless. The cab taking them from the airport to Slayer Central, as Xander likes to call it, is going far too fast for Leah's liking. She wants to tell the driver to stop, to slow down... to turn the freaking cab around. But she can't ask the driver to do any of that because Xander's been looking forward to this ever since Faith called them two weeks ago to invite them over. She can't disappoint him. Literally.
It's been three months since Leah imprinted on Xander and one month since both of them stopped avoiding each other. She thought she would have been used to the imprint pull by now, by her need to be with Xander – to be everything for Xander – but she's not. Each and every time she feels the need to be with Xander, to make him happy, it overwhelms her. The depth of it, the power of the emotions that flood her whenever Xander so much as looks at her and smiles, is almost too much for her to bear sometimes.
Every aspect of her world is centred around him. He's her motivation for everything. Everything she does, every thought and decision she makes, except the ones Sam makes for her, is for Xander. It's only been three months and she feels like a completely different person, it's almost like she's been reborn.
Her pack brothers have all remarked on all of the changes they've seen in their pack mind. The anger she held onto for so long is completely gone. She no longer hates Sam. She still thinks he's a dick, she just no longer wants to bite his dick off.
Leah gets it now. She understands why Sam left her and she can understand Sam losing his shit with Emily. The thought of Xander rejecting her, leaving her is so fucking horrifying that her mind can't entertain the notion for more than a few seconds. She knows that if he decided to up and leave, she'd never be able to stop him and she'd never be able to function again. That's why she's scared to meet his friends. If Xander decides to stay with them Leah will be lost.
She's completely in love with him, completely enraptured by him...
And completely at his mercy.
