Title: Everyone Makes Mistakes

Dean Winchester smiled as the demon-possessed brunette spun around from the impact of the Colt's blessed bullet before dropping to the floor, to lie lifelessly among the bodies of her victims.

"Guess that's one demon bitch we won't have to worry about, anymore," Dean smiled to himself before he was abruptly picked up off his feet and slammed hard against the far wall by some unseen force.

"YOU KILLED MY GIRLFRIEND, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Dean could hear a woman screaming furiously from behind him as he struggled to free himself, and he managed to glance over his shoulder to see a black-eyed and red-haired woman standing in the door of the adjourning room, her left hand outstretched towards him as if she actually had a hold on him.

The redhead's diatribe was cut off in mid-rant as her chest seemed to explode in a tsunami of blood and gore and her body fell backwards into the room behind her. As she did so, Dean dropped to the floor, the force holding him against the wall abruptly disappearing.

"I can't believe you didn't wait for me to get in position, Dean,” Sam Winchester admonished his brother as he carefully entered the room, glancing around for any more potential assailants. "After all, you're the one who's always telling me I need to wait for back-up in these sort of situations. Thank god the bad guys always feel they have to diatribe before they try to kill you."

"Spare me the lecture, okay? I really don't need to hear it right now, Sammie," Dean half-groaned as he pushed himself to his feet. "Jesus, I feel like I just got run over by a tractor-trailer.

"That bitch must be the one who summoned the demon that possessed the brunette," the older Winchester brother commented as he picked up the Colt.

"There any I.D. on her?" Dean then asked. "So we can maybe get an idea of where her coven might be located and take care of them before they start coming after us?"

"Yeah, actually, there is," Sam nodded as he checked the driver's license he'd found in the redhead's jeans pocket.

"It says here, her name was Willow Daniele Rosenberg, and she lived in Cleveland, Ohio."

"Okay then. Let's get going. We can be in there in less than three hours if we leave now."

Author's Post-script: Given the rather black and white view the Winchesters have of their universe repeatedly displayed in Seasons One and Two (which is one reason I stopped watching the show), I just can't picture them seeing any behavior by a witch and her clearly demon-possessed associates as being anything other than "EVIL!" and thus, deserving of being put down, ASAP.

A stray thought after reading another Supernatural/Buffy crossover story with the various characters being all huggy and kissy with each other is what produced this plot bunny.
