BtVs by Mutant Enemy, Marvel Universe and its characters/events by the parent company and its many artists and writers. This assumes that Spike lives in a merged-Marvel verse where the X-Men are televised heroes with a huge and surprisingly well fact-checked rumor mill and that Gambit's *somehow* able to recognize him as a vampire and, when annoyed, take action accordingly. I like this, but it probably falls somewhat short on story logic ;)
Spike was in New Orleans when Gambit, the
Gambit, brushed past him in an alleyway.

That I'll regret.

A charged card later, there was one less vampire in the world.
