Some people say that its ok to never know the blistering heat of love and lust, desire and hate, trust and the bitter taste of lead pennies on your tongue, lies. But yet, when we tell them that the one thing we wanted most of all was for them to leave us to know peace, they turn their heads.
Is it better to have had it and never be able to forget it or is it better to have never had it and wish to remember it? My name is Dawn Summers and I had it all, oh I remember it, in the crystal view of Narci’s stockings.
300 years ago a woman fell from the sky, the Vatican's cardinal found her and gave her a life in his world - for it was not hers - he told her that it was going to be all right and that she could do it - live in this new world of demons with angels faces and that she could fake it. She never thought so, then she met him, the man that made her believe - but then - burning in the house of the man that had saved her - she took one last look at the man she let herself love and smiled, because he was right - she could fake it.
She hoped she would never remember this when she awoke up in her bed on Revello Drive - because her name was Dawn Summers - and she wasn’t the one that jumped.
315 years later, a brunette with choppy bangs and a bob cut shakes her lethal, slim frame and dusts the dirt off her Levi’s and smiles forcefully when she turns to see a dozen Hyenas staring at her with fangful grins. “Who are you - and how did you just fall from the sky??”, she turns when a strangely masculine voice asks from her right - turning to see a 30-something year old gorgeous woman with curves and curls ask her - with a steel tinged worried tone.
She pastes a battle-worn smile onto her face and with a bunch of teeth and a knapsack in one hand says, “My name is Dawn Summers, I’m from another world, nice to meet you Oba.”
Yeah, she never forgot.
