Salazar Slytherin was a Dark Lord. There was no doubt about that. But the why he became one, is an all together mysterious. Some say it was a hated for muggleborns, he couldn't say he was fond of them. Others say it was for power, he had power. The truth, is he was different. Powerful, stronger, the next step in magical evolution and he was condemned for it.

Nearly a thousand years later, that evolution has happened again. This time in muggleborn, Hermione Granger. Now when friends turn their backs, Hermione finds she can only turn to the thousand year old dead Dark Lord's journal. But is Salazar really dead? And is being dark, the same as being evil? And will Salazar and Hermione see eye to eye and take the magical world into its future? Or were they doomed from the start?
