Latter Days prompt #2

Disclaimer: I don't own them. They belong to Funny Boy Films and Davis Entertainment Filmworks.

CorruptedSmile and I decided to try this prompt thing again. We chose 5 fandoms and each of us supplied one prompt for each. Hope you like it. Leave a review and then go check out Corrupted's take on the prompt.

Prompt: Christian and Aaron enjoy a quiet day together -- just the two of them -- in the park. Don't care when you set the scene; during or after the film.

Christian smiled at the man resting on his chest. He couldn’t believe he could actually call Aaron his boyfriend, couldn’t believe he actually got that lucky. It was their day off so they decided to head to the park for a picnic and now they were lying on a little blanket that Julie got them for Christmas. It was too small for two people, so in order to fit on it they had to lie tightly entwined. It was Christian’s favourite Christmas gift ever.

Aaron tensed in his sleep and Christian tightened his grip and whispered he loved him in his ear. That always calmed his lover down when he was starting to get nightmares. He didn’t get them often, but his mother called yesterday and the call brought back memories of his father’s brainwashing attempt. Aaron didn’t get any sleep that night, so Christian called Lila and took the day off for both of them and took them to the park. It was Aaron’s favourite spot and he could always relax here. So now he was catching up on his sleep and Christian was thinking about how lucky he was.

Slowly Aaron started waking up. He looked up at Christian and smiled.

“Hey.”

“Hey.”

“Was I asleep long?”

Christian shook his head no. “You should get some more sleep.”

“Later,” answered Aaron and leaned up to kiss him.

It was a good day.

A/N: So this is the last one. I hope you liked it. Please review and then go check out CorruptedSmile's take on these prompts.
