Chapter Two

Author's Note: Okay, my beta Theo (Starway_Man) suggested this addendum, and I just can't resist. ;-)

Privately deciding to ‘fix’ the mess she’d created, Willow tried to do a counter-spell later that night, trying to re-make all the surviving Slayers in the image of Kendra – the Slayer Called in between Buffy and Faith. The straight-laced Slayage-focused Jamaican girl who had died too young, slaughtered by the female vampire named Drusilla in the Sunnydale High School library, was the one Slayer Willow had known who had hated all vampires with a passion.

To Willow’s way of thinking, Kendra’s mind-set would remove both the criminal tendencies gained from Faith and the necrophiliac urges transferred from Buffy, and given the Chosen crowd their best hope of survival.

Unfortunately, her best friend Xander Harris walked into her room at the Council HQ at precisely the wrong moment, and Willow wound up thinking of him instead of Kendra when the spell activated.

Less than six months later, a Slayer rebellion against all other authority figures put Alexander LaVelle Harris solely in charge of the Council – whether he wanted to be or not.

And thanks to the roster system the Chosen crowd had worked out amongst themselves, there was a different Slayer in his bed every night, whether he wanted her there or not.

Seeing the chaos her actions had produced, despite the best of intentions, Willow Rosenberg dumped her girlfriend Kennedy, ran away to Tibet in shame and vowed never to do another magic spell again in her life.
