The Wardrobe (CoN/BtVS crossover)

The Wardrobe

I thought I would go for a crossover next. I love this pic of the wardrobe from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, so expect it again.

This one has a little more thought behind it. I actually started a fic based on this idea, but it never got anywhere. In short, the surviving Pevensie sibling ended up marrying an American doctor. She had three daughters: Arlene, 'Lolly' and Joyce. And one night, the night Susan is kidnapped, young Joyce insists she was pulled into the wardrobe Susan brought with her from England.

Fast-forward fifty-odd years later, and Buffy and Dawn's grandfather has died, leaving Buffy the wardrobe her mother was so fascinated and horrified by. Buffy takes it back to England where they are rebuilding the Council, and sometimes finds herself waking up, convinced she can hear screams from behind its doors...

That was the idea, anyway. If anyone would like to adopt it, feel free. What kidnapped Susan and why is up to the imagination. Has she spent the last fifty years tortured? As a queen? Trapped in a prison of her own making? Does she think it is Aslan taking a cruel revenge, or does she believe it to be atonement? Will she leave the wardrobe thinking only days have passed and return to a world where her husband and daughter are dead, and her other daughters have moved on?

Up to you, although I do like the idea of Giles being shocked by Buffy's English heritage.
