The Bigger They Are…– Or – (I Love It When A Plan…)
Summary: **Part of 'The World(s) According to Faith' series** Faith channels her inner Hannibal – Smith, not Lecter – after a successful fight.
Challenge: #3937 ‘I love it when a plan comes together’
Timeline: after Buffy and Faith left Dawn in the HP’verse.
Warning: a touch of sexual innuendo and some violence/gore.
Thanks to my betas: hopping solo on this one except for a chat with JacobPhoenix about deciding the ‘Big Bad’ in the story.

Large city’s downtown area
After a while, Buffy and Faith started taking turns devising battle plans when they made these dimensional jumps. This time it happened to be Faith’s turn. ‘Oh goody!’
the brunette Slayer thought to herself.
She stood there, staring up in bemusement at the god-knows-how-many-feet-tall creature that was rampaging through the downtown area. Oh well, size didn’t matter – at least in this situation anyway. Faith smirked when she imagined the expression on Buffy’s face if she shared that particular thought with her sister Slayer.
“Okay, B, here’s what I have in mind for this bad boy. You hamstring its left ankle and I’ll handle the right one. Once it’s down, I’ll hit the neck and you can go for the heart,” Faith summarized.
Knowing that it wasn’t important to get technical about the hamstring comment, Buffy just nodded and prepared her katana for the fight.
It took them several strikes each to pierce the hide of the beast, but they managed to make it fall. Unfortunately, it took a building with it when it went. Luckily for them, its puny arms meant it couldn’t reach either of them when they were in position at the heart and neck. It was just getting
into position that was a bitch.
Despite the oil gusher’s worth of blood that drenched both of them when they killed it, neither Faith nor Buffy were injured in the fight.
Faith saw the blonde Slayer, dripping with blood and had to tease, “The bigger they are, the more blood they gush when you stab them.” Then she studied the dead carcass of Godzilla, grabbed a cigar from a nearby man who was staring at the pair in shock and shoved it in her mouth with a grin. “I love it when a plan comes together,” she quipped.
A/N: Didn’t even notice this challenge until I saw a link for it on the forums.
