A/N: This is the second in the series of prompts CorruptedSmile and I are doing once again. This time they're focused around coffee.

Giles collapsed into the armchair exhausted. Who knew magical slayers would be even more energetic than regular ones? But he drew the shortest straw, so here he was at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry trying not to go crazy while teaching 15 young slayers. It was perhaps an extraordinarily large percentage of slayers considering the number of pupils, but some old magical families had slaying in their blood and the council never dared take potentials away from purebloods.

It was a difficult time. There was a war looming over their heads. A war his little girls will have to be involved in. And to make their burden worse he brought with him the knowledge of semi-annual apocalypses. Giles sighed tiredly. He sometimes wondered if it was worth it. He’d just come from a war of his own. A war he gave the last 20 years of his life to. And then he came into the magical world and got involved with another war. He was too old for this. Too old and too tired and too broken.

“If you’re just going to brood then kindly vacate my chair so that it can be used for more productive purposes,” said a voice next to his ear.

Giles smiled and looked up at Severus to see him levitating two cups of coffee and a plate of biscuits.

“I was here first. I don’t see why I should vacate it,” he said softly.

Severus raised an eyebrow. “It’s my chair. And there’s nowhere else to sit.”

“You’re a wizard, aren’t you?” replied Giles with a smirk which only grew when a wand was pointed directly at him. There was a flash of light and suddenly the armchair transformed into a love-seat just barely big enough for two.

Severus calmly started sipping his coffee as though he wasn’t sitting so close to Giles he was practically on top of him.

Giles smiled and relaxed into the warmth of the coffee and the firm body next to him. So there was a war looming. When wasn’t there? But this was worth it.

A/N: So, what did you think? I know Severus may seem a bit OOC, but just go with it XD Please leave a review and go check out Corrupted's first prompt.
