Disclaimer: Buffy belongs to Joss. Big Bang Theory is Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady's. I just like to play in their sandboxes now and then.

Dawn glared at Xander.

“Explain to me again how I got tapped for this?”

“Mostly because no one else wants to walk in there either,” Xander told her. “And Willow says to remind you she did it last time.”

Dawn pouted.

“It’s not fair. Why don’t Faith or Buffy every have to do this?”

“Because last time Buffy broke somebody’s lightsaber, and Faith will just get annoyed and tie them up, at which point someone else will have to go in anyway to free them.”

“It’s still not fair. How did it happen, anyway? I thought we made a rule after the last time.”

“You mean the time there were four of them, not just two?”

“There are only two?” Dawn asked, her face brightening. “That’s not so bad. At least, it might not be so bad. Is it the mute? Cause he’s actually not so bad.”

“Technically he’s not a mute, Dawn. He’s only situationally mute, and you happen to be from the half of the population that trigger the situation.”

“He’s still far less obnoxious than the other ones.”

“Sorry. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200.”

“Not the horny one.”

“Actually, no.”

“So just the one that lives with him?”

"The one who has an IQ that's off the charts but the emotional and social skills of the average five year old?”

"That’s the one. Have I mentioned lately that you're my very favoritest person in the world?"

"You just don't want to go in there and tell them it's time to step away from the Playstation either."

"Damn right I don't- who do you think had to deal with them Sunday?"

Dawn sighed.

"How much longer before Andrew's cousin goes home again?"

"Andrew said a week, so we're stuck with Leonard and Sheldon for five more days."

Dawn glared at Xander.

"Fine, I'll do it, but after this it's somebody else's turn to deal with Nerdvana."

“Actually, I think after this, the Playstation may just ‘malfunction’.”

“Yeah, cause that’ll work.”
