A/N: This is a crossover of the Buffyverse with an alternate Dariaverse(My Best Friend). The main difference between the alternate and base Dariaverses is that the good guy (and fan favorite) Trent has become an evil person (known as Trennt) in the alternate 'verse. Suffice it to say that among the less heinous of his acts was physical abuse of his sister, Jane, approx. five years younger than him. Strangely enough, Jane's counterpart in the Buffyverse becomes a Slayer....

Trennt opened his bleary eyes, his head pounding like a thousand sledgehammers. In front of him he saw a small blond girl, seemingly shaking with fear. "Well, hell-o, cutie," he said.

"Y-you aren't going to hurt me, are you?" she stuttered, falling to her knees.

He walked up to her and caressed her cheek. "Not if you're a good girl..." He was going to reach into her dress when his hand was slapped away, hard. He took a moment to shake his hand and look at it, and by then, the girl was standing up and in his face.

"Not hardly." She grabbed him by the collar and pushed him back into his chair. "I'm Buffy Summers, and my name's going to be nothing to you. I'm what's called a Vampire Slayer, and you have no idea of what that is, because vampires are gone from your universe. I'm telling you these things because I want you to be aware of what will happen to you, and why. Not too long ago, my friends and I found a way to make a lot of other Slayers (there had been only one, well, two, before). These girls came from all around the world, from all walks of life. Can you guess what one of their names was?" She made a 'come here' motion to someone behind the chair, and someone looking almost exactly like Jane came out. But this wasn't Jane - she stood almost as tall as he was, and was fully developed, rather than skinny.

"No, I'm not your sister. Thank God. But after Buffy and Willow made me a Slayer, they had a friend look down some of the major alternate dimensions for me, to make sure that there were no problems. Surprise, surprise, we found you. It might interest you to know that we looked at a hundred different parallel universes. A hundred places where things went differently. And you know what we found?

Trennt spoke up. "That you're just a sl-" Whatever he was going to say was halted by the backhand that jolted his teeth loose.

"In ninety-nine of those realities, you were a good and supportive brother. Heck, usually you were the only member of the family who directly supported me, with Mom and Dad being gone so much. And just one reality where my brother, the one who was supposed to protect me, became a murderous, incestous, raping, child molesting pimp!" She turned the chair around, and he saw his Janey, two versions of her little friend, and what looked like a hundred variations on him, from band member, to businessman, to gang member....and they were all looking at him.

Buffy walked around and looked him in the eye. "I don't like you, and I really don't think you're made of human parts, but some part of you is one of Janey's brothers, so I'm going to make you a deal. If you're still standing after all of these Trents get done with you, I won't go any further. You'll just have the Janeys and Darias to worry about. Anyway, have fun." And she and the other girls stepped back and let the Trents advance.

Trennt quickly jumped out of the chair and headed for the nearest exit. Before he was halfway there, however, one of his doubles(apparently one that hadn't taken up smoking and had kept running) caught up with him and yanked him down by his collar. By the time he got up, he was surrounded, and hearing words like, "You were supposed to protect her, asshole!" from the men surrounding him. Then they closed in.

It felt like hours, but was likely only a few minutes. As far as he knew, every bone in his body, outside of his skull, ears, and spine was broken; how they had managed to do that without puncturing anything or killing him, he didn't know. Getting up, or staying up if he were helped, was an impossibility. The only reason that he wasn't screaming constantly was that he had his mouth clamped shut.

Buffy looked at him with disgust, and said, "You don't know how glad I am to not have to live up to my part of the bargain." She looked up. "Will?" The redhead that Trennt had seen earlier said a few words, and all of the sudden, this big gray...thing... appeared.

"Behold D'Hoffryn! Lord of Arashmaharr, he that turns the air to blood and rains death upon -- Miss Rosenberg! How lovely to see you again." it said.

"Hi, D'Hoffryn!" the redhead waved. "We've got some business, if you'd like." She pointed to Trennt. The demon pulled a notebook from his pocket and flipped a few pages.

"Hmmm...Child molestation, incest, rape, assaulting his sister, forcibly pimping her, trying to rape her only friend, blackmail, extortion..." He shook his head. "Who is his primary victim?" Trennt's Janey stepped forward. "Don't be frightened. What do you want to happen to that?" and he pointed at Trennt.

"Don't answer that yet!" said Buffy. She turned to D'Hoffryn. "You are going to visit vengeance solely on that pile of ***** right? She's not going to get screwed because of some technicality in her wish?" After he shook his head, she said to Janey, "Go on."

Trennt's Janey said, I want him to live a long, normal life, where every day is full of fear and pain, and them I want him to die and go to hell."

"Done." said the demon, and Trennt's body had vanished from the floor. "That was the kind of scum that makes sentients look bad, Ms Summers." He smiled. "And now that our business is concluded," he said, then disappeared.

The Buffyverse Daria and Jane, holding hands, asked Daria and Janey if they needed anything else. Daria pointed at the held hands, and said, "An explanation for that would be good." Buffyverse Daria simply told them that they found they could do more together than apart, and then hugged them as Dawn prepared to send them back to their own reality.

"Live well!" were the last words they heard before they were swept home.
