I don't own Harry Potter or any of the characters appearing therein. I'm not making any money from this (and even if I did it probably wouldn't be very much :P).A/N:
This is the next story in my Day in the Life of...
series. I actually thought of this one first and wrote a few pointers down, but then I wrote Neville's story first for some reason and it took me a while to write this down. I hope you like it. Please review.A Day in the Life of... Lucius Malfoy
Lucius woke up at 8 am sharp and, as was his habit, the first thing he did was to hex the house elf responsible for waking him up. Of course the elf was obeying his orders, but, blasts it, he was having a good dream and woke up in a good mood and if he wanted to hex his house elves it was no one's business but his own.
He took a shower and then joined Narcissa for breakfast which he started by yelling at the house elf for serving him raspberry jam when he clearly preferred strawberry. Of course he yelled at the creature just yesterday for bringing him strawberry jam, which he clearly detested, but it was good to keep the little monsters on their toes. He got his regular letter from Draco and as always it was filled with bragging words and descriptions of scenarios in which he utterly stunned and humiliated Potter with his sharp wit. Lucius had alternative sources of information at Hogwarts and knew that such tales were nothing but his son’s delusions of grandeur. Draco was such a disappointment.
After finishing his meal he kissed Narcissa goodbye and left for the Ministry. After intimidating his way to the Minister's office he discovered that Fudge wasn't even in yet. Glancing at the Minister's secretary, he decided that the man was acceptable and proceeded to shag him on the Minister's desk to kill some time. When Fudge finally showed up he was politely informed which newly proposed decrees were good and which were simply unacceptable.
Leaving the Ministry, he headed to Gringots for one of his favourite activities. He entered his vault, threw the goblin attendant out, removed all clothes and, after using a quick charm which liquidized the gold, but left it cool, he dived in and spent a considerable amount of time swimming in his wealth.
At 2 pm he met Severus for lunch in one of the best restaurants in Diagon Alley. They compared their days so far and tried to decide who was worse – second year Hufflepuffs or senior Ministry employees. They called it a draw.
Saying goodbye to Severus, he contacted a Prophet journalist to follow him to a benefit function where he threw some money at an orphanage and tried not to gag while pretending to care. There was one good thing that came from it. One of the simpering do-gooders told him he totally deserved a holiday for being so awesome
, and he decided that this, while somewhat clumsily worded, was the complete truth. However, he never liked leaving the country much, so the more logical path was to get Cissy out of the house by buying her and her new boy-toy a month long trip to Paris. His wife was always partial to Paris and who knew, maybe she's get a new toy. This one annoyed Lucius a bit too much and he was struggling not to hex it.
After returning home to have dinner with his wife and informing her of her trip, he left for the DE meeting. It was a fairly boring meeting with the only exciting part being the introduction of the newest batch of junior Death Eaters. Each junior member got assigned a mentor. Since Lucius was on his Lord's good side at the moment he got a tall, muscular young man with sharp, aristocratic features. He approved and showed his approval after the meeting by allowing the boy to suck him and then coming on his face. He was even kind enough to allow the boy to reach completion as well.
Leaving his newest charge with a few brief instructions on how to not piss of their Lord, he spent the rest of the evening sipping brandy in front of the fire in the Malfoy library. He finally fell asleep to the sound of the house elves punishing themselves. It was good being a Malfoy.A/N:
