Doing nothing doesn't sit well with her. She needs something evil to fight off. As Faith continues to look through the books, she comes across a book called The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. She pulls it off the shelf and sits down at a nearby table to read.
Once Faith is settle down in her seat, she opens The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring book and begins to read about the "One Ring To Rule Them All." After Faith is finished scanning through the book, she realizing this is her kind of thing. She hates Sauron for making such an evil ring and the Hobbit is very courageous to take on such a very powerful task to bare it and to offer to destroy it. As Faith ponders what it would be like, she suddenly says, "I wish I could become a Hobbit and experience life in the Shire." Faith looks around the library waiting for the wishing demon to appear. Getting tired of waiting, she goes back to reading the book. Suddenly the wishing demon appears in front of Faith, she looks up from reading the book when she senses she isn't alone.
Faith jumps up from her chair and gets into a fighting position, but relaxes when she realizing it's just the wishing demon. Faith asks the demon "What took you so long?" The demon calmly states, "Relax slayer."
"I had other wishes that needed to be tended to, not just yours."
"Now that you're here, can you make me into a Hobbit and send me to the Shire, so I can experience life in Hobbtion?" Faith asks the demon.
"I want to help the ring bearer to destroy Sauron and his one ring."
The demon replies "Yes, Slayer I can make your wish come true."
The demon slowly approaches Faith and says a few magical words. Faith suddenly starts to feel a change in her body and looks down to see she's shorter than the demon herself and her feet are big and hairy. Faith looks up at the demon in shock and asks, "What the hell did you do to me?"
"I did as I promised Slayer, I turned you into a hobbit." The demon answers.
"Why are my feet big and hairy?"
"Why don't I have any shoes or socks on?"
"That's the way hobbits are Slayer." The demon replies.
"Well this sucks." Faith mumbles quietly to herself. Faith continues to examine her body for any more changes and finds her ears have points at the tip. "Hobbits have pointed ears as well." The demon nods her head and then Faith notices her hair is longer. "So this is the life of a hobbit," Faith whispers quietly to herself.
"Okay." Faith sighs quietly.
"You made one part of my wish come true, what about the other part, living the life of a Hobbit in the Shire?"
"One thing at a time."
"Now close your eyes and when you open them, you'll wake up in the Shire."
