The Face on the Computer.

The Face on the Computer.

A/N: I do not have any implied or explicit ownership of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, Bones, or any characters or places therein. They are owned by, well, their owners. This is a work of fiction - all characters and events are fictional. I only own the story idea.

This is set just after the ending of Season 5 of Bones, about May of 2010. That means it is about 7 years after the collapse of Sunnydale, for timing.

Camille Saroyan sat at her desk doing paperwork. Among other things, with so many of her people heading off for a year, she had even more than usual to work on. She had to finish off those heading out [Temperance Brennan, Angela Mont-, ah, Hodgins, Jack Hodgins, and Daisy Wick]. She had to find at least temporary doctors to fill the spots of Brennan and Hodgins - Jack that is - and that was all the harder because it was a temporary position. Although Daisy had only been an intern, a lot of the grunt work in the lab was done by the interns - more than Booth knew, and probably mroe than Brennan realized.

She was sure she could also expect a new FBI liaison any time now. She just hoped a case didn't come until she had some replacements.

Finding someone to replace Angela, on the other hand, was probably going to be impossible. Oh, Cam knew how to run the Angelatron, to some small extent, but she couldn't do on it what Angela could. She wasn't sure anyone could do on it what Angela could.

-bring, bring-

Cam looked at the caller ID. 'speak of the devil.' "Angela, how are you? Any problems?"

"No, no, we're fine. Just in the airport, waiting for the flight."

"And you had to hear my dulcet tones before you took off?"

"Not exactly Cam. No, I called because the Angelatron paged me. The last few reconstructions finally finished compiling."

"Ah, reconstructions on what?" Cam was curious. They didn't have a current case from any Law Enforcement, so, what had she been working on?

"Oh, the Sunnydale finds. Those remains that were brought up from Sunnydale. I had three compiling during the trial, and they finally finished."

"The machine can do that without you present?"

"When it is a limited rebuild, and there are few questions about what is happening, yes, it can."

"Oh, I agree. Well, just turn the interface on, and it will bring up the faces. There were a few others I hadn't entered yet, but I doubt there's a hurry, not now."

"No, no hurry, not on those bodies."

"Looks like our flight is in; gotta go."

"Have fun, both of you!"

"We're going to Paris, Sweetie, how can we not?" Angela laughed as she hung up the phone.

Camille smiled as she hung her own up. She looked at the paperwork on the desk, and then decided to go take care of the faces. It wouldn't take long, but it would give her a short break from her paperwork, and she would still be working.

She strode to 'Angela's Lair', where her machine was stored, and quickly brought the images up. She then used the interface to transfer them to the appropriate website - in this case, the Sunnydale Remains site. That done, she forced herself to go back to her office, nodding to Clark and Wendell as she went.

-bzzt, bzzt-

Willow jerked, causing Kennedy to open her eyes. "What is it, Will-baby?"

"That's an alarm I have if any of our people are indicated on government websites." Willow got up, grabbing a robe.

Kennedy sat up, and looked over. She seemed a lot less concerned to be naked. "So, one of us was noted on a Government site? Who?"

"Don't know yet. Give me a sec- Anya?!"

"Anya? She's dead - isn't she?"

"Yeah, yeah she is. But, her remains, oh, her remains have been found, and taken to DC."

"You'd better let Xander know."

"Yeah," Willow said, face unhappy. He had only been married a year. In fact, she looked at the calendar, it was one year in two days. What an Anniversary present. She picked up the phone. "Hello? Is Xander there? I have some news for him."
